I am a 36yr old Lesbian and I give have to say I give a huge amount of respect to the group of people in this video!! Great job!! It does get better!! Soon you all will see that personal Happiness is way more important ! Good luck to you all! <3
this is so beautiful! and so sad at the same time, I wish we could all get together and have a huge group hug! haha <3 why cant everyone love each other without judging or questioning everything they do
I find it extra hard to understand why someone would be trans. In this world where there are supposed less standards for gender, why would any want to change theirs? Why can't people just act how they want? If someone wants to change gender, they must have a problem with their body...
@TheShubLub the key word is "supposed". The standards for gender are still playing a big part of society today. If someone wants to change their gender then they are free to do so. Who is anyone to say no to that? Acting how you want is NOT the say as BEING who you want. A person who acts like a different gender is a cross dresser. One who fully becomes the other gender has transitioned. Understand now?
@MafiasCreation The for the reply. Yea I find gender roles pretty dumb. No one should haft to change their body to have society treat them a certain way.
now what would be funny would be a world where the majority of the people were LGBT. Then Heterosexuality would be knee deep especially if the religions were puttin the hate them as they do with LGBT XD
That was AMAZING! In just a bit over seven minutes, you've helped me understand more than I did prior to the video. It has taken me years to truly grasp the basics. Each time a patient trans person makes an effort to show or tell me a bit more about him or herself, I feel blessed and believe that I have received a precious gift. Thank you so much for this video. You may not realize it, but I bet you've opened a lot of eyes.
Half there people should come to where i live. Everybody is accepting. Im a lesbian. Im only fourteen and have known this since i was about eleven. But just about a year ago came out,I've been with my girlfriend for almost two years now.
I don't care what sexual orientation you are, but I don't think people who aren't straight should try to get people of the same sex who are straight to date them.
Thank you so much for making this video it literally brought tears to my eyes. Though I do not find myself in that situation, I am an ally. I am fighting and will continue to fight until people no longer have to hide who they are. No one desserves to experience that kind of pain and torture. To everyone who is experiencing that now, I am truly sorry. But know that I am a friend, an ally, a supporter, and a fighter. And one day, you will no longer have to hide who you are. there will be change.
this was an amazing video, i am straight myself but i think that the fact that anyone, lgbtq, ftm, mtf-whatever, arent considered as equals, is utterly disgusting. hating someone without meeting them is a certifiable disorder, why is society crazy? my sister is about to transition into a boy, and i support her 100%
I'm an older (44) genderqueer who teaches high school and is involved with our school's GSA. Please know that you are not alone...there is support out there, everybody and I hope you can find it. This is a very moving project, Casey...thank you for it.
I know my comment will never mean as much as those of your friends and family, but I just want to say (as a cis-gender person) that a year ago I found this whole phenomenon (GID and TG) completely alien and confusing. Now I'm watching this & all I feel is empathy and sadness at the hurt you've experienced. People CAN come to understand and accept and love who you are. Some will choose not to, but others will surprise you. Being normal isn't an important as being yourself. That applies to all.
and thank you so much for putting my picture in this. im not sure if its relevant to the topic [its the picture at 4:06 saying "nobody listens to me when i talk"] but i know a lot of people probably feel the same way.
thank you for putting this vid together. one of the things that was said... really touched me. in fact, quite a few things. I love and aceept everyone who participated, or even had a thought go into truly understanding what this video is about.

I myself am an FtM, I'm only 17.
And started therapy to get my letter for testosterone by the time I am 18.
I've started to live full time.
To anyone, as this video shows, you are not alone.
It took me years to figure that out.
Casey, great video, thank you.
And thanks to all that helped make this video, it will help people.
