UK police and CPS protect criminals, prosecute innocent (18Jun11)

So - the shopkeeper sought to re-establish parental authority, but was arrested like a dangerous criminal.

The PARENTS must have reported him, but even that is no excuse for the violent break-in by the Police - did they think he was another Marc Dutroux?

It's a shameful incident for the thief, their parents and the Police. The only innocent party is prosecuted - truly an example of 'let no good deed go unpunished'.

I don't remember using the term 'volk' in England, considering it's a German word. I believe the English equivalent would be folk?

Referring to the common 'volk' rather than folk is just slightly suspicious.

I also used the word 'sans'. I could just as easily be a French onion-seller. Question is; which would be worse, oh laudably opined one?
