  • fantastic jet,,and good pilot,,

  • freakin dust cloud just like would be on a wet runway. completely awesome.

  • Where did you find this RC plane

  • EPIC but if it had spoilers on the landing it would be better

  • One of these days you gonna make a real turbo jet engine that injects fuel into the engine and ignites it, then put that model onto a plane of yours.

  • Sweet ;-)

  • that's the best R/C Touchdown iv'e ever seen dude..

  • what kind of propulsor do you use?

  • wow thats so cool

  • That is the coolest thing I have ever seen!!!!!!!

  • Wow, actually working thrust reverser on a toy plane! Cool! (Don't tell me it's just a smoke generator. It'll break my heart)

  • Awesome! From where can I buy it?

  • @TheGreatFlyer I am asking the same question, this is cool!

  • @TheGreatFlyer he made it himself . neffwaffe makes all his planes

  • awsome

  • Sweet!

  • haha if that was mine i'd thrust reverse in mid-air

  • It'd crash like Lauda Air Flight 004, not a good idea.

  • ouch

  • @rcplaneguy1 and total an expensive plane

  • @rcplaneguy1 hahahahahha lmao!! just what i thought when i saw this vid :D it would be good!!

  • Wow, thats badass!!

What is the plane setup? Body material, Fan units and diameter, motors, batteries, all-up weight, dimensions. Do the blades ever come loose operating backwards, is debris damage a problem? L gear retractable? Pardon the question-barrage, but that's one sweet bird you've built. I have been hemming and hawing over building a G-V for a while and your plane is very similar in size/design. Thanks.

  • Isn't that thrust reverser dangerous to the engines? FODS?

  • the enigines are still taking in air, but the reverser it directing it forward causing it to slow

  • Ahh I must've been crazy with my original comment. I was thinking of the conventional engine that lays under the wing, which when they reverse kick a bunch of dirt into the engines. The combination of bucket's and it's high and rear-mounting make it way less susceptible to FOD-damage.

  • Wouldn't that just be reverse throttle for the electric motors?

  • Fucking sick nasty

  • that is some accelleration...

  • Nice T/R's! Could you upload some more video showing some closeups of your reverser mechanism, etc. I fly a Citation X for a living, your T/R's are just like the real thing.

  • Please post more videos.

  • lol ur the best rc plane flier ive ever seen have u thpught about moving onto something bigger?

  • do you build all of these yourelf?

  • awesome landings !

  • I would pay good money for that!

  • You've got some serious building chops! All these difficult to model planes and they fly so well. Very lightweight obviously. Getting my electrics right is tough for me. One question: You don't seem to steer/taxi them on the ground. Don't they have steerable nosegear? Just wondering...

  • i want one of those :D

  • That is so unbelievably awesome! Your videos are all great!

  • This is SO cool! Awesome! Keep up that great job and modeling techinques! Love it!

  • Great stuff. want to put some reverse thrust buckets on my r/c Citation. Can you explain the mechanism. Are you using 2 micro servos on each engine? Thanks in advance.

  • can you retards not read the description?

  • whered u get it?

  • woow

    where you buy it?

  • dude that i wicked awesome

  • wow!!! thats amazing could you tell me about it like is it an arf or kit? whats your setup

  • just a thought

maybe if you came in with a little bit more speed then used the revs it would look more realistic. give it a go and see how it works

  • if U make me one ill buy it from u :).

  • Dude! why are you not selling these for a living?????

  • OOOOMMMMGGGG

  • The Thrust Reversers aree awesome!!!!

  • simply the most amazing thing ever!!

i would buy that off you. haha

  • Those thrust reversers are awesome.

  • simply beautiful!

  • Umm..neffwaffe if you are the owner of the plane or your friend is the owner, would you mind telling me how to make the thrust reverser.By the way,I'll favorite this video because its the first video of an RC plane that I watched with reverse thrust.

  • Impressive reversers! Never seen them on an r/c before. +5

  • that is awesome! looked so realistic. i would like to try that!

  • To make that thrust reverse work really really good you should weigh the entire plane down to like 5 times its weight then the thrust reverse will really do its job

  • Impressive MD-80, can you tell me where to purchase one of these?

  • you gotta build it yourself

  • this plane is fatser than the 747??

  • That is very impressive!

  • wow!

  • I guess it's worth a shot...so here goes. Can I have that? Please?

  • u had to make tht?

  • How much did this cost to make?

  • nice!! working thrust reverse! and nice take offs. keep up the good work

  • That was fantastic. Gorgeous, and realistic models you have. Can I convince you to do a C-5? haha.

  • that is amazing. I love reverse thrust! Id pay good money for that.

  • great aircraft !!! MD80

  • Way cool!

  • Reverse thrust? Wow! That is awesome and it clearly works very well! You need to seriously market all of your models. More videos please!

  • AWESOME T/Rs!!!!

  • good landings :)

  • that's cool! show us it up close. i want to see how u made it work

  • I think it's cute! So small, but it's definately an MD 80

I wish I could get an R/C plane like this. That's really cool!

  • were did you get the plane from? please reply..

  • Once again, Kudo's! I bet that RC MD-80 is better built than the real thing. LOL.

  • Where can I get this model form.

    Love your 727 & 747 models.

  • what r the wheels made out of?

  • Love the scale flying characteristics

  • awesom ! I like to see it work with out the blownig dust thanks..

  • Hehehe, flies too fast at that scale.

  • Neffwaffe, I emailed you a while back seeking info on the Braniff 727 build. Could you please tell me where you get the materials to build these models. I am an airline pilot myself and love R/c. Please email me with the info. Just add yahoo after my screen name.

  • wow, that's friggin awesome! nice job on those working reversers!

  • Very nice MD-80 :-)

  • Awesome! Keep'em flyin'!

  • Fantastic - looks and sounds like the real thing (except for the short take-off roll - that would have never worked with a full load out of DEN in August) :D wingo - DENOTFL/MEMOOFL/LEXOOFL

  • where did you get that? i want one

  • that thing is awesome! how did you get the thrust reversers to work?

  • When you land it almost looks like you can do reverse thrusters to brake your landing....is that true? Cool vid...and I lived in Tempe for 14 years until last year. Love the place.

  • Yes, the reversers work just like the full size counterpart.
