Above all else folks it's down to our attitudes as parents.....we can all sit here and feel sorry for ourselves and for the kids we imagined we would have.....OR...we play with the cards we were dealt with BEACUSE THESE KIDS WERE MEANT TO BE BORN TO US...and step up as parents and do what we're supposed to.
Those aren't "medicines" they are supplements, vitanines. Autistic childrens bodies are lacking very much in certain areas. Also, I don't blame medicines. I said we think preservatives (mercury) in vaccines helped contribute to the Autism. We think there is a genetic factor that it triggers making his body unable to excrete toxins like ours. Doctors tried to medicate Kale but the diet helped so much more, We also put our faith in God, not doctors. Bless your daughter as well:)
I am shocked at the amount of medication you give your son especially when you blame medicine for his Autism, I would never medicate my children. My daughter was non verbal, potty trained at 5 didn't walk till she was three all this was done by myself and my husband with love and support not quack doctors, and you don't recover from Autism you learn stratergies to cope with it. May God Bless your son.
Please check out a great Children's book about Autism, PDD and ADHD called 'Why Is He Different?' (Please spread the word about this unique book, tell your friends and tell me what you think about it. Big thanks!!). You can preview it on youtube profile called Monalisaknew. Just copy and paste the following sentence in youtube search window: 'Why Is He Different? (Autism Book)'
You can also buy this book on AthsePublishing(dot)com. Thank You !!
I know your brother has tons to say. He also knows how much you love him. So keep helping him fight and celebrate each accomplishment he makes. Don't forget to give your self a big pat on the back too, it's hard to watch a loved one try so hard to do simple things. It sure makes us appreciate all that we can do. Good luck to you and Nicky, don't ever stop helping him try:)
Man this really made me feel just amazed, I'm so happy for Kale, I just wish we could have this funded so we could have stem cell therapy on my brother Nicky he is autistic and i just to hear him say things i never thought I could hear from him, I mean its hard when im only 13 boy not able to hear what my brpther has to say.
Bravo! What a great video. I just wanted to say thanks for putting your family out there. We-in the ASD community thank you. Autism is treatable and you can recover! Both my boys have autism and everyday is a miracle of God's power. My kids are begining to heal and the journey is amazing. I too believe that vaccines played a vital role and have results to prove it. God Bless you and your family.
you dont recover from autism you can learn to over come some of the siytom become hf an as im an adult with hf autism an cxan pass for nt at times but i no im not recoved it not like cancer it a neroligule disdore likje being born mr an so on
Parents listen up! My son, at age 2 was diagnosed with moderate/severe autism and we were told that he would probably never speak. Now at almost 6 he is entering mainstream school on-time and we cannot keep him quiet from talking wanting to learn. We did nothing spectaular except using what he was focussed on as a learning point. It all started with the colour yellow. You have to believe in your child and committ yourself to helping them. It is worth it! Message me if you need help/advice
@delts99 Yes I would like some advice for my four year old son. He was diagnosed with high functioning autism. He is talking some and still need a lot of cues on what to say. Please let me know if you have any advice for me. Oh , he has speech and ot therapy as well. Thanks
Hi, we have a 3 years old boy with autism, I would like to know how can we get a Dr. able to help us with these treatments you're giving to your son, please, where, who?????. How can I contact this Dr. DAN ??? (We live in CA) I love this video and I'm so happy for his improvements !!!
Wel there is only a fiew areas in this would you can get Stem Cell Therapy, one clinic is in Purto rico sorry if i spelled that wrong, and I also think somewhere in Japan. But im not sure but I think this treatment is very expensive.
I'm sorry to be the one to break the news to all of you but autism is not curable. i know it is hard to accept. The good news is that it can be improved by diet, therapy and even some times meds. I wish you all the best of luck on finding what you need for your child.
My younger brother is autistic and just therapy is working for him. He also has CP and epilepsy. he is my miracle
I hate to be the one to break this to YOU dear but no one said that Autism is curable...but it is treatable:) Good luck with your brother and God bless.
Please pray for me. My daughter is five years old also and was diagnosed with autism at 2 1/2 years of age. She is nowhere near where Kale is developmentally; she is nonverbal and not potty-trained, has a lot of sensory issues but is very affectionate. We have an appointment with a DAN on July 2nd and I need the courage to STICK WITH IT this time (I also took her to a DAN when we lived in Hawaii but didn't stick with it because it was costly and tedious), but I HAVE to succeed this time!
My son is 4 years old. He is an autist, very difficult one. We are from Russia. There are not enough special centres for our kids, and those we have are not very good at all. We were turned down in each of them, because we've got a difficult case, they don't want to spend their time on us. It is so humiliating! We do what we can, but it is so expencive, here is no good specialists at all, plus I'm an unwed mother. Sad to establish a fact autists have no future in Russia, nobody cares :(
What a powerful video! You are to be commended as a parent who would not give up. Our son, now 9, is fully recovered. He was held back one year in school. The first year of kindergarten, his teacher said he had no short term memory. She was shocked at this. I told her that I thought this too would pass, that he was still recovering. Now he is in 2nd grade and is on 4th grade level math, 4th grade reading skills. I know not all can be recovered, but most all can improve the quality of life
Thank you for the hope. We aren't alone. I cried when you mentioned that we were chosen to be our kids parents. I say that all the time because this Mom will never give up, will do whatever it takes, and will spread the HOPE everywhere. Our son, although not recovered, has gone from moderate/severe autism to a young man with hope and potential. He has come a tremendous way. He gets better every day. I'm so glad I found the DAN movement, and HOPE. Thank you!
My daughter is severely autistic. We tried chelation and diet with a DAN doctor. She started having seizures during that time. He took her off the meds. Been in special ed with OT, speech therapist, sensory, water therapy for 3 years. She has only gotten worse. Not potty trained. Will eat her own feces. You are lucky. Not all can be cured.
I am well aware that not all can be cured. And I also know how blessed we are. I hope you keep trying. You never know what will be the trigger for each different child. Its also so costly trying different things. I will keep your daughter in my prayers, good luck to your family in your continuing journey.God bless.

Vaccination does NOT cause autism. You need to stop with your delusions.
As a very mildly autistic person I think you and people "like" you need to stop believing in myths.
Autism is most likely genetic.
