Yeah, that's what I can see. He's been sober for about 2-3 years now or so the news stories say. At 54 years old, it's time he got his act together. I believe his booze was a lot to blame for the demise of their marriage. I've read Val's book & seen her interviewed a number of times the last couple years. Alcohol wrecks a lot of lives.

He was playing "Woman in love" AND a pre-release version of "Panama". I'm sure he played more than them two while playing. Anyone who writes always fiddles around with new licks. He started the one lick and went into the other. He's always innovating. Thats why he's Ed. I'm suprised he would play something new to the media. Maybe it was only a lick back then and it turned into one of his biggest hits later on. Who cares anyway. Valarie was a hot piece back then and Eddie rocked and always will.

I am aware of what other songs are being played, but you don't here panama at all? You gotta take a closer listen between 4:20 and 4:24. It's there, quick, but it's in there. Don't know what a true fan is, but I have listen to them for over 20 years (I'm 27), been to 3 of their concerts and even bought merchandise at the show. That's both stupid and fanatical.
