That was shameful.

I'm a swing dancer, but I prefer legitimate lead follow. That was exciting and energy filled and so.... empty. Neither the follows nor the leads looked like they were engaged with each other. I know it's choreographed, and it's a different style, but in a social setting, I feel like most of these people simply can't dance.

Another reason why I love Mel and Maks: they are like a real couple! They arrive arm in arm in matching shades...when they're giving each group a hard time at the beginning, Maks in brushing her hair!

And after the dance ends, they turn and hug while others walk off.

I'll bet they didn't talk to others too much (we don't see much) as they probably simply don't care--they know they rock.
