  • Umm... wow... acting is so not easy, isn't it? I mean, with a big crew and cameras on you all the time... if it were me, I'd slip out of character and get distracted.

  • i want to be there so badly !

  • anyone else annoyed by the RANDOM CHILD???

  • for the people who are asking about where susan and peter have gotten to its a good idea to read the books. i read the series many times before watching any of the movies!!!! just sayin' =D

  • hahaha xd

i was watching that little girl and i was thinking

she is very little but then i saw she was standing next to her XD

  • @rk212005 remember in the last movie they said it would be Peter and Susan's last time in Narnia cause they have "grown up"

  • uh where is peter and where is susan?

  • @rk212005 Do you know the story?

  • LLOOLL isn't this the scene at the end? Where the little girl sees her mum again?

  • @jojohtl89 yeah

  • @buddycomeon: Thank you! Do you now why? Is it for Ben(prince Caspian). Is she really go died? Like in some made-movies?

  • who is that little girl??

And will Susan return in the movie??

  • @LinCrockRebel yeah for a little while but peter wont

  • i still remember her in the fist movie of narnia she's so tiny n little but now she grew up a lot.. she's more taller than before.. and she's pretty now

  • wow.. the end.

  • I always think Lucy is Susan! She's so tall now it's hard to tell!

Who can't wait to see this movie? :P

  • Well...that was exciting

  • how old is she

  • I'd love to be in that movie so much.

  • whos the little girl

  • Comment removed

  • @lev924 Arabella Morton.

  • i was there, that is the top of my mums head in the begining of the video. It was so cool watching it being filmed.

  • that's not georgie henly, that's her double

  • i hope they have these places in the movie the dragon island, the island with the gold pool, and the island of dreams (i hope they make that part creepy)

  • I was like no she's not the small one it doesn't look like her and then I realised she was the tall one woah!!!!

  • Georgie Henley is actually going to be 15 soon. She looks so different compared to The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.

  • R u serious?1 thts georgie?! she's Small!!

  • @ILUVJORDANANDJOE No, the "Small" girl in the purple dress is not Georgie. See that tall girl standing next to her? THAT'S Georgie.

  • @lovetolovefairytales I kind of relized tht after I commented. how old is she now? I thought tht girl was supposed to b a boy, cuz in the bok its a boy

  • @ILUVJORDANANDJOE Are you sure you aren't getting a bit mixed up? What do you mean "In the book it's a boy"? What boy? I don't remember any little boys (unless you count Edmund and Eustace, I guess, but they're not really LITTLE) in the book and I've read it at least five times, if not more.

  • @lovetolovefairytales Then whose the little girl??? cuz i didn't c Eustance.

  • @ILUVJORDANANDJOE The little girl is clearly some character they made up just for the movie, she wasn't in the book. Eustace is still in the movie, watch the trailer; he's in that (he has very few scenes in that, but he's there).

  • awww, georgie's so grown up now...<3

  • Who's the smaller girl?

  • /watch?v=_NDb7bXpgOU see my video and other world cup videos :) thanks

  • who's Gail? the only girls in the book are lucy and the star's daughter. and a picture of susan. why must they always change the story?? i love narnia, but they go a bit too far sometimes

  • kind f a delayed reaction shouting her name lol

  • wait i don't get it...can someone explain??

who is gail and what is happening?

  • Normally I wouldnt approve of the throwing in of a random character as they did here, but seeing as my name is Gail I think Ill let it pass ;D

Also her name is spelt Gael in the movie, and I read somewhere(possibly Narniaweb or a website like it) that she will not have major impact on the story, but is just there to add a female presence for Lucy to interact with. I THINK(not 100 percent sure) that she's there trying to find her mother or something like that.

  • GEORGIE IS SO ADORABLE!!!!!!!!! <3 <3 <3 <3

  • Georgie is so beautiful now!! She's so beautiful.

  • Who is Gail? lol

  • Well I am glad they're making the movie! I hope they make ALL of them! ^_^

I LOVE all the books they're all so fun! So what if they make a few changes? As long as they keep the action and adventure!

  • According to some stuff I read on the 'net, Gael is a character (made up for the film obviously) who is supposed to be Drinian's daughter and they're on a quest to find her mother...or something like that...I think.

  • @Vampryss42 if that's true i'm gonna be friggin pissed.. there is PLENTY of adventure/questing in the book to fill up the entire movie. every time some idiot gets a grand idea for changing the story, it not only ruins what the fans are expecting, but it takes up movie time that could be used on events/characters that are ACTUALLY IN THE BOOK... i mean really, how hard can it possibly be as a script writer to take one of the most beloved books of all time and just stick to the story?

  • @spinasweetness Well, you might not want to see it, then. I heard that they're adding something about the fate of Narnia depending on them getting to the edge of the world or something, and they're also giving Ramandu's daughter a name. Also, I liked all the changes they added to the 'Prince Caspian' film (more so what they did with Peter's character than anything else) so it's not exactly 'ruining' what I'm expecting.

  • @Vampryss42 oh i'm seein it! haha... it's just a huge bummer, not so much that they add things, but that because they add something, they have to take other things out that were there first... i'm perfectly fine with ramandu's daughter having a name, as for the fate of narnia deal? well, whatever, as long as they don't really ride on that the whole time

  • @spinasweetness Ah, got 'cha. Yeah, it is a pity that they take out stuff because they add things. But what can we fans of the Narnia series do about it?

  • @spinasweetness I feel the same way. really pissed of about how the whole is made.

  • @spinasweetness I couldn't agree with you more. I was frustrated with Prince Capspian how different it was from C S Lewis' original - which i prefer more. I thought now that Disney had no say, that things would be better... I hope that is still going to be the case...

  • @spinasweetness how hard is it to except a 20 minute film. I hate to break it to you but taking all of the elements of the novel and sticking it into a story would, like communism, be a good idea in theory, but in practice it would be awful. In so many ways. So many.

  • @LemX21 that's what they did with the first one... and it was awesome..

and i think i have to use the same point i did before again, cuz i don't know how else to put this: one of the greatest books of all time... why does it need to be changed?

a story is the same story whether you read it, see, or hear it... what makes you think that because it's a movie, the story won't be good anymore?

  • @spinasweetness Reeeeally hard.. obviously..! The more I come to think about it, the more I realize how different the movies ALWAYS are from the real story... There's always more action, and very often more romance (even in those that didn't originally have any romance about them)... I think it's the scriptwrithers desperate wish to take the credit... even when the movie already HAS a story!

  • @spinasweetness Otherwise Lucy is the only female character (other than Lilliandale) in the story! They have to have a bit more female i it!

  • she is beautiful

  • Okay. If you look. That girl is not Georgie. So, it has to be a stunt double. And "Gail" might be the name of the double...

  • gail is total made up i soud know this is my fav book

  • @0712alleycat Okay. If you look. That girl is not Georgie. So, it has to be a stunt double. And "Gail" might be the name of the double...By the way, my name is Aslan...

  • Nice stunt double for Barnes there...... XD

  • She is probably from the Lone Islands in VotDT that Prince Caspian et al.visit first. I believe that is the only time little children are in the book. Probably something to do with the slave traders.

It would be hard for Caspian to have a daughter AS HE MEETS HIS WIFE AT THE END of VotDT. If someone screws that up I will not even watch the movie.

  • yeah im not familiar with no gail!

not only in this part but i think i havent heard it anywhere

  • Is Gail suppose to play Prince Caspian's daughter? I honestly think it might be. I'm sorry I have never read the books. So I don't know, but judging by the comments. I'm guessing Gail is a character that was originially not in the novel series; and I'm pretty sure she shouts out 'Mummy!'. Can anyone reply to me please?

  • @1CLKL I have no idea who Gail is supposed to be, because she is not in the books at all. Caspian doesn't have a daughter ever (least of all in this book) although he eventually has a son. Also, I didn't even recognize Georgie until the end of the clip and then freaked out. She's grown up so much!

  • @SoftballPlayingFool I know right!!!! It's weird how fast they grow up! Well, :/ I don't know maybe they changed it around, it would be kind of a disappointement though, if they didn't follow the series and took out characters.

  • Is Gail suppose to play Prince Caspian's daughter?

  • @1CLKL D: i hope not in the book Caspian falls in love with the daughter of a celestrial star who doesn't appear in the storyline till about near the end

    and she was cool c:

  • @klisnroc Aww, That is super sweet. Although, I must admit, I 'am' disappointed that he doesn't end up with Susan. They would make 'such' a lovely couple! :P <3

  • who the heck is gail? she's not even mentioned in the book. :\

  • ohmygawd is that lucy ???

  • @masteruniter Yup ;D

  • gail is a fun ficstonail charchtor .

  • i don't llike the new characters, if it was andrew he would of kept it to the book almost n it kind of doesn't fit in somehow

  • @lydia13031996 if andrew did it it'd prolly be worse.. notice that prince caspian was a fail and wasn't close to the book..

  • i think Gail might be the guy because if you notice she doesn't call the name until 0:55 when the man is jumping so.....

  • wait a minute.....is georgie the girl wearing the red colored long-sleeved shirt ( idk the proper name of wat she's wearing). if so then who is the girl with the long grey dress on...i dnt think there was a character in the book that included a girl ( aside from lucy) that was that small....Georgie is soo big :D

  • @dentalfloss357 Yup, she's Lucy alright. The girl in grey was apparently made up. Her name is 'Gail'.

  • lol gail is her real name

  • What the bleedin' hell??? How stupid is the world today?!

The two top comments have a freak out about an extra being called Gail - there is no one called Georgie Henley in the Narnian Chronicles either! Sheesh

GAIL is the real life name of the EXTRA - read the description.

And it's good to see some actual footage of the boat - thank you for the upload.

    xD

  • @Kalleesto Georgie Henley is the actree who plays Lucy.

  • in the book lucy was the only female on board :-s

hope gail doesn't play a big part in this...

  • Gael's from the Lone Islands. (wikipedia)

  • OMG Georgie is SOOO big now it's crazy to thik of her as that little lucy from the first movie. I'm still going to miss William (Peter) even more so now that he does seem to be in anything new these days. Oh well can't wait for the movie!!!

  • Dang!

She grew a lot!i thought the little girl was her and i was like hold on

no wait the tall one is her!

  • @etqjkl810 I really thought that, too *lol* but she has grown alot, our Lucy, hasnt she?

  • The little girl is adorable! And Georgie's costume is amazing!

  • aww that gail looks sooo cute, and seems very brave

  • @hermione2411 her real name is arabella morton.

  • OMG....!!! Gale!!! I told Georgie not to tell anyone about her and here she is on the boat in the movie...if she told Skandar I am going to kill her!!!!!LOL JK

  • are you sure that was georgie?

  • yes, that is Georgie!!! She has grown tall hasn't she?

  • wow! lucy is not more a sweet child, she looks mature

  • Georgie has really gotten tall!

  • Omg is that lucy?how the hell...Holy Shit!!! how the hell she grew so much, she's not adorable anymore, she is a teenager now :(

  • Ignore my last post it is December 10 2010 :)

  • OMG i heard they are going to put some new characters in the storyline. Some girl called Gael and Tavros the minotaur!

And Lucy is so grown up now.

  • She's so grown up now!

  • who is gail? i read the book, but not in English, so can anyone explain a bit who she is?

  • Hey - I was there that day! Awesome.

I remember watching Gail counting like that with the guy next to her. A little bit later, Georgie and the girl who plays Gail were dancing to an iPod together. It was really cute - it was like watching an older Lucy dance with her younger self.

  • @Bundibird where did you see that?

  • @skandarswife1:

I went to the set in Queensland where they filmed for (if i remember correctly) three months. They had the ship fully set up on the end of a point so they could film with water on three sides so it looks like its out on open water. Heaps of people went up there to watch the filming and got to meet some of the cast and crew. The extras were great - they came up and took heaps of photos with fans. Some lucky people even got shots with Ben.

  • Sorry buddy - no trailer yet. :(

  • @MsBlueRose16 dude? december 10 2010? thats 9 month and seven days. do you even think they made a trailer yet?

  • haha :D no problem. Everyone makes mistakes, right? But it could be nice if they had made one.

  • I think they will in the summer.

  • @JeffPorcaroFreak

    I think it's due for a 2011 release

  • She's so TALL!!! Look at her, biting her nails. hahaha

  • bad acting.

  • Is Georgie the one in the pink or the one standing behind her?

  • @TheKiwichik, she's the one standing behind the girl. And I must say she has DEFINITELY gotten taller.

  • @TheKiwichik Nope, the girl standing behind her is Georgie:) she's grown up a lot o.O

  • wow georgie is now a women not a girl

  • my good Georgie is so beatifull.... GEORGIE MARRY ME jajajaja,,,,, how old is she? 15, 16??

  • she's 14 turning 15 in July.

  • @sanenzada 14

  • i am so confused.

  • @TubeTweaks youtube will still delete it urggg s2pid youtube

  • Gail is nowhere to be found in the book, Voyage of the Dawn Treader. She is a character that was completely made up. Believe me, I am a Narnia fanatic. I've read all of the books dozens of times.

  • @HereIamWhatNow LOL! I believe the name Gail belongs to the girl (actress) not the extra!

  • @zoerickard Ignor me, nevermind, didn't watch the whole thing where she called out 'gail'...

However, as extra's don't get lines, she's clearly a small character invented for the film. See, this is what happens when you get rid of the director who LOVES the books and make the films more mass marketed, it becomes its own thing, not a book-version. SIGH

  • @HereIamWhatNow Nice to know I'm not the only one =]

  • @HereIamWhatNow

yeah, and I don't remember all those other crewmates in the book either. it was just Edmund,Lucy,Eustace,Caspian, and Reepeecheep.

they probably added a bunch of new characters so there would be more of a "swashbuckling variety crew" feel to it,and an additional character (Gail) like they did with the Fox in Lion,The Witch, and The Wardrobe, but it was probably unnecessary for the most part.

  • @TheSlickAndroid there was a relatively large crew in the book including captain Drinian, First Mate Rhince and about 30 others mostly unnamed. Have you actually read the book?

Don't know who Gail is meant to be though!

  • @JohnSettatree Yes I have read the book. I just haven't read it in years,so I probably forgot characters.plus I think I do remember at one point only five of them could continue on their own and they had to leave the rest of the crew

  • @HereIamWhatNow

i think Gail is actually the actress' name and not the character.

  • @rock3tar i just looked it up, Gael is the name of a character, the actress is arabella morton

  • @HereIamWhatNow Remember that Disney and Hollywood had to insert stuff of thier own to make it more appealing though the movie doesn't really need it. ;)

  • @HereIamWhatNow I also dont remember a Gail in the books ANYWHERE

  • @HereIamWhatNow Yes, I'm a big fan too, and she really isn't show up in the book...but I'm curious who is she in the film besides that she's name is Gail....:D

  • Wow! Georgie has grown up so much! She's so pretty! :D I can't wait for the movie! :)

  • can somebody tell me who the little girl is???Wow Lucy has grown up so much!

  • her character`s name is gail (in case you dont know) and her real name is arabella thorton. and yes georgie has grown up.

  • Wow. So eye-opening on how a film is done - like 90 percent of the time they are standing around waiting for everything to be ready for a five-second shot. Not quite as glamorous as we tend to believe acting is, I think.

  • Georgie looks great!! I love her wardrobe. oh maaaan, can't wait for this movie...

  • That little girl ian't the original Lucy is it? She looks so... different :O

  • Comment removed

  • okay i have read that book and i don't remember a "Gail".. Will somebody please tell me this: "Who the crap is Gail??!!"

  • dude. if you read the books, you'd know who the other little girl is [:

  • no. shes not in the book. maybe u need to re read it

  • i have finished the book an hour ago, and i don't know who the girl is:D

  • Hope this movie on 3D *-*

  • Which one is her, is it the girl in the dress or he one to the left that remains on the boat.

  • I can't believe Georgey is has grown so tall!

to think that in the last movie she looked like that other girl next to her e_e

    Can't waittt!

  • @thesecretgardenlove she is it

  • thats her!!!!!!!!!!!! god the we got the same age and she looks older than me!!! thats not a good think for her.... xd

  • who is the little girl in the dress? I'm confused!

  • omg, when i first saw this, i thought the little girl was georgie lmao but then i looked up at the girl standing next to the little girl and went, "wait a second...holy crap, that's georgie! she grew so much!" lol

  • Of course she did, she is 14

  • @tmama26 She is 14? She looks older.

  • Georgie's gotten so tall!

  • wow georgie grew allot

  • o i was looking at the lil girl thinking thats not her...i didnt realize georgie was the taller one lol

  • omg I know same here I had to watch it like 5 times to see that Georgie was the taller one. Dude she has grown up so fast
