So this show was "casted" even back before the days of what we know as reality TV, interesting? I guess some people went on this show to get discovered, like Andy Kaufman did in 1978-79, just before Taxi made him a star.
Elaine Joyce was married to John Levoff at the time, and had a child with him in early 1986. Seems to me her long assocation with guesting on game shows, which was where most of her TV work seemed to be(she was married to Bobby Van for 10 years until his death in 1980), ended not long after Dating Game ended. She's been in a relationship with Neil Simon for quite a few years and don't think she does TV any more, maybe stage work.
@Fightdog Hey Bob, The slam dancing Bouffant lady forfeited the trip and I got to take a friend. This time in my life was a very challenging time. Even in Southern California during the 80's Homosexuality was still kind of taboo in the little suburb I grew up in and was still living in. Oh, and may I say I wore cool clothes just like those other two bachelors but the producers of the show wanted me to be the geek, a re-occurring theme you'll notice if you see other dating game episodes.
Your the straightest looking out off all the contestants
