Apparantly it earns you a lot of flak around here to state what is just an historical fact. Furthermore, the Dutch slaughtered an awful lot more people in their Indonesian colonies during their 350 year long 'civilizing' mission there. By the way, I never hear Christians having to defend their Christianity for the hundreds of millions of people who were butchered by what were in name Christians. It's all about personal accountability, not the blanket conviction of a whole religious community because of the same, shared belief.
