@sayitisntsokthnxbai hehehe....HEHEHEE.......HEHEHEHEHEHEH......MMMUUUUUUAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOOK OUT YOU MUSIC HATER! WE'RE COMING FOR YOU >:)
to me this sounds like an old fashioned military camp. at 1st it's morning and all of a sudden every one wakes up and goes to training. then they have a peace full lunch and training starts again. then they have a party with fireworks. wierd.
A bit of trivia for those beginning to appreciate the symphonic works: This piece actually comprises the 3rd and 4th parts of the Overture. 1st is Prelude. 2nd part is Storm, which many cartoon watchers would also recognize. The 3rd part is what begins here and is actually called Ranz des Vaches (call to the dairy cows). It has been referred to as Daybreak or daybreak music many times. 4th is the Finale, the "cavalry charge" which became became the Lone Ranger theme music.
It is a shame that many comments below are from people proporting to only know this music from Looney Tunes. Shows folk were brought up by chav parents feeding them TV dinners, holding no classical music in their collections. World get dummer every single day.
@lyhom "world get dummer every single day" huh. well spoken my friend. two points, first being that if you call someone out for being dumb, shouldn't you spell it "dumber"? And shouldn't you use proper verb conjugation as well? just asking.
@lyhom I dunno if you're as dumb as you sound in your comment, but I know you're at least ignorant for not seeing how Looney Tunes exposed these Swanson's-fed children to some of the most amazing music in history. -1
Warner Brothers, thank you for injecting a bit of classical in your cartoons. You inspired a love of Classical that has enriched my life.( I bet this is true for a lot of people, and lone ranger)
same, I grew up listening to classical music. My dad would blare it going down the high way :D pissed the other drivers off it was funny as hell! :D XD
Quality music here. Believe it or not, I didn't get this from Looney Toons - my dad likes classical music a lot, and it stuck with me. I recognized it on Looney Toons from the record my dad used to play lol.
"Ah, what a nice, quiet beautiful morning! The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and...WTF, A MASKED MAN RIDING A HORSE IS COMING STRAIGHT AT ME!!!
@CadillacL yea I didnt know it was either in fact i was just thinking that to myself when I saw ur comment.....a combo of looney tunes and lone ranger....lmao...shows how classical music ends up in pop life....
@pugilstick You're right- I'm 63 and I know my love of classical stems both from my parents and equally from saturday morning cartoons- Bugs, Elmer, Mickey and the gang- all old friends.
I feel sorry for this younger generation who seem to have only booty shakin' crap music or violent vids to watch. They will grow up with little beauty and damn little poetry of soul. Not that i believe in souls, however.
@baghend I understand what you mean but I disagree. Not all young people listen to stupid music. I especially like classic music, and I do so since I've been 13. Many of my friends do as well. Don't judge too quickly. We're not all the same ;).
@Wendy0692 Sorry Wendy, you're right of course -Its a bad habit of us old farts to lump all young people in the same bunch- i hated it when I was your age. We're all different. But tell me- (I grew up in the 50's and 60's, right at the start of rock 'n roll, and had so much fun at sock hops in the gym, and playing our old 45"s till my Dad shouted "Turn that down"- do kids have fun listening to their music today? hope so
Best of luck with everything You sound like you have a handle on things
@baghend I think you're right. People don't enjoy music as much as they did before. I think it's a real problem. But how could I enjoy Justin Bieber? I'm Belgian and when I'm at a party, the best moments are the songs from the 70s, 80s, 90s. You're right. All I wanted to say is there are young people who know it. I don't say that all modern music's bad. But I believe that it was better 20 or 30 years ago. It's nice to see that people can listen to what young people have to say, thank you! :)
@Wendy0692 Young people are just about the only hope we have. And having had six kids, and listened to their music (often with ear plugs) I learned a lot. Funny when I see my little grandsons -four all under 6- when they rock 'n roll, they automatically start dancing. Its fun. The love of classical music stays with you for life- but so many never get the chance to hear it sadly. Modern music seems so vapid, harsh, and talentless. Mostly hype. And lets not forget folk music- (esp. polka!)
@Wendy0692 Hi again Wendy- just to say that my brother in Law (he's 80 and we are more like brothers) though born here in Canada, his parents were from Vinov in Belgium, and settled here- along with many others from Belgium, in the 1920's, first to work on farms, then soon to have their own farms and become quite prosperous. A large Belgian/Dutch community here in the province where I live. And many kept-and still do- their love of Polka and the accordian- Brother still plays the old songs.
