  • I would definitively try everything you can to get him to turn on his own. My last was "directionally challenged" and I talked to a few OB's about it. He was a big boy and was too big to turn himself again after about 32-34 weeks. The OB's I talked to all told me that having a OB turn him can raise the chances of getting the cord wrapped around his neck. I tried everything I could but he was just too big and I ended up having a c/s with him. Best of luck getting him to turn on his own

  • Getting there so exciting congrats!! :)

  • I'm 35 weeks and mine in transverse too!! He's been this way since 20 weeks so I doubt mine is turning for me. My first delivery was normal but I am getting used to the idea of a c-section this time around :0( Oh well for me. Hope yours turns for ya!

  • I have a friend who had a baby who was transverse up until 37 weeks. She was terrified of having a c-section, especially since her ob/gyn wanted to do one early, well her little girl turned and she went into labor a couple days after!

  • we are naming our son Chaise Odin we got Odin because he is the "god of war and victory" yes we do believe in God but we also love mythology and greek history as well. well anyways "god of war and victory" fits because we've been through alot this pregnancy. He was a surprise for us we concieved on Christmas eve and we thought we couldnt get pregnant. We were not preventing for 2 years. The doctors thought due to the AFP test he was going to have down syndrome which he doesn't yay!

  • I did not have that problem, but I still asked my midwives the "what if" question back when I was pregnant and they said: cold on top of the belly and warm at the bottom, light (e.g. flashlight) at bottom, husband singing at bottom. And with bottom they meant......you know what. And last resort manually flipping, but that would have been done by them and only if they saw it was easy because it's dangerous. Good luck!

  • Piper did not go complete head down till 37wks! I did the rocking on "all fours" and sitting on a yoga ball and just keeping your knees far apart and gently rocking or bouncing on the ball. I was completely stressed from 31 wks till she moved. And my Dr. said that transfers is WAY better than complete head up, cause worse case scenario manual flipping or coaxing as he put it..lol

  • I had a breech baby for my first pregnancy and would like to share my experience. Before you see a chiropractor ask the ObGyn to do a 3D scan to find the umbilical cord. Trying to move the baby without know where that it is could be dangerous. We left our baby in her desired position and had a C-Section to be on the side since the cord was too close to her neck and moving her could have wrapped it around her neck.

  • holy moly your pregnancy is flying by .. as always you look incredible .. love you mama xoxox

  • P.S. Use a dryer sheet to help the static in your hair!

  • Jenni, Stay positive. If it ever comes to surgery, i've had a c-section and I honestly believe it's what you make of it. It sucked, but in the end you have a beautiful baby. Just do what you can. It's all you can do, and NO STRESSING! Hugs!~

  • Every time you climb your stairs, go up on all fours & exaggerate your movements. Also, no reclining in chairs. At work, try to stand and rock hips from side to side when you can. One more...at night sleep on your left side & pull right knee up as far as is comfortable. These were all suggestions from my CNM when my last little guy was turned wrong.

  • Have you thought about having acupuncture done? It may be something to look into doing!

  • Getting pretty excited for you! This baby is going to be here before you know it!

  • I seriously can see the fly flying around you and i went to swat it away haha realizing afterwords that wouldnt work

  • You're looking great! Hope baby turns soon.

  • I saw the fly:) Can't wait to hear the middle name!

  • You look fantastic!

  • You're looking fabulous Jeni! Can't believe you're almost full term already. :) Can't wait for little Drake to be here.

  • I can't believe you are 32 weeks... It feels like only a few weeks ago that you announced your pregnancy! Anyway, you look beautiful!

  • You are looking great! I hope he turns soon for you! I'm sure he will :)

  • You are so cute Jeni.

  • No stretch marks! Soo lucky :)

  • Yes Danny went head down well swimming, I felt him flip it's a was a really big sudden move it even hurt a little.

  • I will be praying for Mr. Drake to go head down! So exciting to have most of your baby buys complete! Nothing feels better than to go into labor with all the baby stuff ready:)

  • Omg, your videos are making me miss being pregnant!!!

  • (con't) Your belly is so adorable!! Oh and if you were adding my name to the list (name drawing) don't worry about it at all-you can leave my name out!! :o) Your pregnancy is flying by!

  • I did all of those crazy exercises and things to try to get Julian to turn around (he was completely breech).. every night I was doing butt lift things, ice pack on the top of my belly and a light at the bottom as well as music playing at the bottom of my belly. All the crazy things they tell you! :o) I was unsuccessful.. :o( Hope it works for you!! I only had two weeks to do it though you still have a little while. I am sure it will turn out okay!

  • do you have a humidifier? sleep with that on, and our nose and hair problems will be cured! also, I live in dry west texas, and occasionally rub a dryer sheet on my hair - sounds strange, but fixes static!

  • bleeding nose & static hair could be from the air in your house being dry..

  • That cat was too cute trying to snag your tag!!!

  • I hope everything you try helps turn him! I can't wait to hear his middle name :)

  • Are you going to wait until he is born to share the middle name/the three names you have in mind? Hope Drake turns for you! My little guy is transverse as well, granted I am only 22 weeks, but it still makes me worry! I am SO not a C-section kinda girl, haha :)

  • Haha this video is pretty funny! the fly landed right on your head at 6:20 ish lol. You're so candid in this one, very cute!

  • What a cute top! I hope he turns for you... I know that can be worrisome. Good thoughts going your way!

  • @megandleila Thank you so much!

  • I know it won't be comfy but go in a cat position (on all fours)and try to tuck your tummy in. It's what my doctor told me to do with my breech son at 38 weeks and it worked. My daughter I had to delivery 36 weeks breech by csection but the cord was around her.

  • @Mommy2angelplus2 I so don't care if it's comfy... i will try ANYTHING! Thank you so much!

  • I know you probably know more about this than me, but I have experience with a transverse baby in the 3rd trimester. I got on my hands and knees in the evening and stretched that way with putting my forehead down and then back up. I also did the ice pack in a warm bath trick. I think it helped to rest and sleep on a firm mattress. Zoey flipped head down between 34-35 weeks and stayed that way. I was so relieved. She was born vaginally and all was well!

  • @SunnyZoey11 Thank you, thank you! I LOVE your story! I am totally going to try your methods... I will try anything right now... I just want him in position! Thank you so much for sharing!

  • I know it does not always happen like this but maybe it might ease your mind. My second son was breech my whole pregnancy and flipped on his own at 39 weeks. He was born 3 days later at 10lbs 3oz. I tried some pregnancy yoga and crawling but not sure if that did the trick or not. I think he just did it on his own.

  • @TheThriftyMommy Thank you so much for sharing! So nice to hear that! I am def. going to give the yoga a shot!

  • I think the cat pose in yoga is a good pose for transverse. You should see if there is anywhere that has prenatal yoga in your area. I did that with my first baby and they had a lot of tips for babies who are breech or transverse. Also, one of my twins was transverse and I had an anterior placenta and she came out fine. No issues at all.

  • @tinemarie001 Thank you so much for sharing that! And great idea on checking out a yoga place! I will be sure to do that!

  • I was just their with Danny and I did a lot of stuff on spinning babies and swimming and he flipped in the pool

  • @cassieconnell So did he just flip while you were swimming?

  • Don't be too freaked out about transverse babies. One of my twins was breech the entire pregnancy and the other was transverse. In the end the breech baby flipped and during delivery the transverse baby flipped head down as well. My OB told me that they can turn at anytime. You look great and everything will be fine!

  • @summergirl6130 Thank you so much! So nice to hear a story like that! I really appreciate it!

  • You look great. I had chronic nose bleeds during my pregnancies. Try running a small cool mist humidifier in your room at night to moisten your nasal passages. Try not to fret about Drake being transverse. Just remember that no matter what happens with his position and delivery type, you will still have a healthy beautiful baby. Keep your eye on the ball!!! Take care!

  • @4boysandalittlelady Great idea on the humidifier! Thank you so much!

  • Super cute shirt !! You and looking things up... you totally shouldn't have done it... but I am totally the same way... and crazy about the nose bleed I got my first one ever while pregnant with Porter too !! Craziness !! Yeah for comfy undies :) And I will have to try that calm stuff next time around... sounds amazing !!

  • @InformationMommy I know... I know... but at least now I know of some ways to help fix the problem. I so just can't sit back and hope, you know? I've gotta do everything possible in hopes of changing things... but dangit! Grrr!!!

  • After you have Drake and and get in a routine do you think you'll make a day in the life video?

  • @imissjerry87 Oh for sure!

  • i think u should do a maternity clothes vlog! u seem to have a lot of cute things! Maybe your fave pieces. :)

  • @AzulSaphire Thats a good idea!

  • Run a humidifier it helps with static and especially the nose bleeds.

  • @mommywood1 Great tip... hadn't thought of that! lol thank you!

  • Agreed...it's completely the same with me when I go to the OB. I have to wait for so long and I am in and out of that office in such a short amount of time. Sometimes I feel like they don't even remember who I am....like a factory.

With my midwife, it's a completely different story. I feel at home...she is always there with open arms, gives me a hug....I can tell her anything... she CARES

  • @OurBabyKlatt Funny you say that... I saw my nurse who I hadn't seen since before 20 weeks and she said "wow I haven't seen you in months" -honestly- I didn't even know that she was my nurse! lol

  • You have such a cute belly! 26 lbs isn't that bad at all for 32 weeks. I gained 45 overall with my son, so feel good :) My hair was crazy static too :))

  • @xoxazurixox Oh, I am thrilled with it! I gained 50 with Deacon and had him at 37 weeks so I am over the moon with 26 right now!

  • static hair means you need moisture in it, def a pregnancy symptom!

  • @ljewkes Great to know! Thank you!

  • this baby was transverse at my 28week appointment, i see my midwife next week hoping its moved!

i need new underwear that on my list! bellys growing! looking really good, i love that top!

  • @clairelou09011988 We have too much in common! This shouldn't be one of the things too!! ugh... Well, I hope that baby is in the right position for you!!

It's been so nice having new undies! Sooooo much more comfortable!

  • @CandidMommy i know i hope its moved, FX theyve both moved lol!

  • You are absolutely glowing in this video! Try not to worry too much. He still has plenty of time to move into position :)

  • @vickijeanna Awe, thank you!

  • My husband has banned me from googling things lol! I have freaked myself out so many times as a parent, especially when pregnant. My son was breached until 34 or 36 weeks I can't remember. I didn't do anything special and he flipped on his own into perfect position. Try not to worry, he has plenty of time! :)

  • @jmr1450 Thank you! Ya... normally I don't but in this case I can't just hope... so I am glad that I looked it up... just for things that I can try but ughhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • You're getting so big! Love the outfit. I hated how I looked when I was prego, but now I look back at the pics and love it. You're gorgeous! And I hope he moves. Ill be prayin he does. (:

  • @Krystaleya Thank you! And isn't that funny how that works?!? lol

    Thank you!

  • you look good! happy 8 months!

awe sorry to hear hes transverse :(

  • @ReillyAJ Thank you!

  • he WILL move! i just know it!

  • @rmmartin92405 And she WILL come... one day... lol /-;

  • I did the chiropractor thing, the positions, all of that. I then had the external version done, which your doctor mentioned (manually turning) which was pretty painful and not successfu for me. Both the chiropractor and the OB that did the version claimed they had 50% success turning babies before 36 weeks. Good Luck!

  • @Jlk6532 Oh bummer!! I'm so hoping that some of these non 'invasive' tricks will work... such a pain! )-;
