I don't have enough faith to be an atheist because the extreme deficiency of evidence . Evolution is not science, evolution is belief. The theory of evolution has been able to predict and explain thousands of observations that previously weren't explained. For example, evolution explains why all mammals have the same basic body plans (heart, lungs, etc..) where as other life forms have drastically different body plans (plants, bacteria, etc).

As long as thiest can pull the "faith card" every athiest vs. thiest debate will never get anywhere. ANYTHING is possible with faith...ANYTHING; talking burning bush and snake, living inside a "big fish", walking on water, building a giant wooden ship for 2 of every species, etc. Faith, by definition, is a belief without proof. I don't have enough faith to be an atheist because the extreme deficiency of evidence . Evolution is not science, evolution is belief. Faith is belief without evidence. You are trying to reduce all claims that require inference (e.g. the belief that George Washington existed, or that the earth existed before humans) to faith, then saying all faith claims are equal. It is illogical to assume that animals belong to "Categories" and have to jump from one category to another category; this would create a "missing link" for EVERY animal fossil ever found...this is a tactic used by ignorant religious types.

@TXRebelOK To answer your question. If evolution were true how can we as humans account for things like Morality, Laws or Logic, and uniformity in nature. Because if we didn't have these especially uniformity in nature we wouldn't even be able to do science it would be impossible and not even consistent? So as an evolutionist and in your own evolutionary worldview how do you account for those three things?

@Genesis1GodCreated How? It's obvious. Cooperation is an important part of evolution because it increases survival probability. We see morality in other social animals like dolphins and bonobo chimps.
Why this is so simple for me to understand but Christians like yourself (assuming your a christian) have so much of a hard time that they believe that some magical immaterial creature poofs animals and humans into existence at will. How does that not seem like a fairy tell?

Most people in their right mind believe that murder is wrong for example, and that's because in our subconscious, that decreases the survival rate, and unless there's a good reason (maybe if that person was decreasing survival rates) then it's against our instinct (increasing population) kind of hard to explain but i think you know what i'm trying to say here.

@ajax515 I have done the research and found nothing. There is no missing link and if evolution were true there should be millions of fossils indicating it. You said the fossil record confirms evolution i disagree, the fossil record confirms Biblical Christianity because the Bible says animals were created to produce after there own kind and that's what we see now and in the fossil record. Dogs produce Dogs and Cats produce Cats. There is no evidence for evolution it's believed in by blind faith.

History does not claim to be a moral compass and therefore isn't as bad, although that is not to say that the most brutal parts of history are beautiful. My recent studying has led me to believe that god does not exist.such a thing cannot be proved or disproved because the only thing which distinguishes reality is our brain. this is important because we can never know the true substance but instead can only rely on our perception of the world around us thus making assumptions that may or may not hold true in certain cercumstances. also i would like to note that quantumphisics is atempting to explain how the universe can be created out of nothing

It really does. In order to get the facts right, you have to do the research yourself, use cognitive thinking(&don't jump on me for using a Scientific term! Alright, I do have Scientific background) and hold fast only to the brightest of the individuals promoting their beliefs one way or another. Compare the two/make decision.

@faustnightmare Although I am going to have to agree with u on the fact that there are becoming fewer and fewer educated believers out there. I myself study everything about 2 hours a day regularly. I find it is even hard to talk to believers about things also. I look outside the box as much as possible but still maintain focus on facts not theories. I had mentioned to alot of people there has to be a balance and sometimes we get way over our head with knowledge

Those who claim to rely on science fall way short than most Christians. Cause we have maybe a few thousand qualified scientist in the world and the rest are guinea pigs who follow them. The theory of evolution has been able to predict and explain thousands of observations that previously weren't explained. For example, evolution explains why all mammals have the same basic body plans (heart, lungs, etc..) where as other life forms have drastically different body plans (plants, bacteria, etc).

They both may agree at some points and dissagree on other issues. But only one explains the 4 questions man has asked since the beginning. How, Why, What, Who? Creation explains those answers. Now perspective may play some points but just as science fails in some areas creation excels and visa-verse.

Scientifically, it clearly says if you do these things this way you will get results. Now if I choose not to do them I remain ignorant from itand therefore dont know if there is or not.
