jajjajajajajjjaa LOL !!!!!
is there any slow down? cos when i played unreal tournament it was laggy when you looked at the entire map or if you got right into an enemys face, is it just my dreamcast being all old :P
it was probably the first shooter on console to have a steady frame rate. It was 30 fps pretty much flawlessly. Unreal was bad with slow down and that's why I couldn't play that game for more then 1 hour. This was awesome, played it for 3 years straight was famous on it hehe good times.
DAMN!!! THE DREAMCAST VERSION LOOKS SO COOL! i have the ps2 version, but i would say the dreamcast is better because it has online, better music, maps and you can connect a keyboard and mouse to the DC and play like it was on pc!
well wen i had dialup a year ago i was paying Quake3 online with no problems. icant play it now cuz dont have the bradband adaptor for de DC i wish i had :(
@unholynessxera You can play the DC online still using a PC to DC server. It allows you to forward broadband through your pcs dial up modem and into your dreamcast at dial up speed so you can connect online.
I have the computer version of this game and its alot different. The maps are gameplay are the same, but a lot of the stuff like the loading screen and health bar and the weapons bar are different.
they never had a 33k modem it was always 56k at least in canada. im sure the U.S had the same modem, they wouldn't bother changing such a minuscule thing like the modem. and they weren't that bad to play on, there wasn't nearly as much lag as there was playing halo 2 online on xbox live lol!
oops i forgot to space my word?? o_O seriously man your gonna post a comment to correct spelling when everyone on here has some misspelling errors!? dude you have too much time on your hands at least say something towards the video you just watched or did you come in here to criticize people of their spelling and how they use it in context?...........wow? some people really don't have anything better to do.
well as you can see i can spell fine with my last statement; i just some times jump the gun with my spelling and don't pay attention but i know what you mean. lol!, but i read all the time and play too many games that require really good reading skills to mess up horribly on my spelling, i play a lot of RPGs and that's all there is in those games is reading so.
not necessarily man unless you are playing instagib. you need 2-3 rails sometimes if they enemy is stacked. I see your point though I would rather use a shotgun or rockets oh and again best soundtrack ever!
I can't remember, exactly, but I'm pretty that the default control scheme uses the face buttons for movement, kinda like WASD on a keyboard. It's actually more intuitive than it sounds.
i hate that Q3 soundtrack. while Q1 and Q2 had some impressive metal music, Q3 just had some techno crap sounds. oh well, still a nice deathmatch game.
I have been asking around alot!! PLEASE ANSWER MY QUESTION! Is it possible to play this game on the dreamcast splitscreen using 2 sets of mouse and keyboard??!!!?? So 2 people using a mouse and keyboard in split screen on the Sega Dreamcast???
I'm 99.99% sure you can. In dcq3 you move over the periferals you wanted to use for each player in to the player start menu. bummer is in split screen you only get a few maps.
There is no headset, so you need a keyboard if you wanna type fast...But you can change the settings to a button on the controller or whatever you play with, then type there...i use the controller for everything.
i think the ultimate guy is just trying to say it was a pretty good game, i dont think he was trying to have a debate with a fucken queerdick. Cool you were on all the best peoples balls, who gives a FUCK!
Yeah, yeah. Don't make claims to things like that if you can't back them. Why lie. Everyone would remember their name on the Q3 community if you played it hardcore back in the day, and you had to be hardcore to be anywhere near the best like you claim. Most of the guys in the TTP clan were good, as well as some in DKE,and onecalled LordSmeagol who was on a PC buy played on DC servers.
no you need the broswer disc to setup your internet connetion for dial up. set dial numbers, username and password as for the BB adaptor I dont know if you need it.
What online start up disc? This is the Dreamcast...if you are talking about the web browser, no...just put in the disc and go to "Internet Game" ...be sure to go to the setup to change ur name and character though.
Seriously, 6 people were on last night...i use the d-pad...anyways i got lucky for getting to play 4 hours last night, LOL...cuz usually my dreamcast dont let me play quake.
Probably best FPS port for DC

Actually on single player it is very easy...Just set the control's so its like Unreal Tournament.
After that, practice, then get online...its hard, but you can get 15-20 frags on a PC player when he has around 40.

other way around you aim with analog and you move with a,b,x,y or you can switch them, its noot really that hard after you play for like a hour.
