  • How come i can't use this with dolphin emullator

  • it works

  • I've got to try this.

  • its real! i can do it to:D

  • nahat jemand lust zu schreibn oder pic tausch mir ist soo langweilig

  • this is not fake...retaderd

  • ahahah

  • when i calibrate it, the red line ONLY moves to the middle, and if i turn the cusor on, it just moves into a corner. wher am i going wrong?

  • lol dats tough but how do u right click? and what do the other buttons serve as? just asking

  • Hey,

This programme looks really cool. I'm a programmer in delphi (not very skilled), and i'm trying to code something for my wiimote

nevertheless, I can't find any Working programme with a good mousepointer. thats when i came to your site.

I can't get your project to run, it just freezes my wiimote. Do you have any ideas how come?

    Waiting for your awnser,

  • @puppitz

Do you have an infrared source on top or at the bottom of your monitor. You don't need a sensor bar. Instead either put two IR leds on the bottom of your monitor or two (lit) candles.

  • that sux

  • Would it be worth the money to buy only a wii controller (without having or buying a wii) and playing pc games with it?

  • i see what you did there

  • lol, im using it right now

  • whats the name of the program for windows?

  • holy crap you have a lot of windows open

  • how is it? it aint exactly hard to do

  • lol, i hope someone makes something like this for the Nokia N95

  • lol, it's using wiimote's accelerometer.

  • Now darwiinRemote is best (mac OS X)

  • linux is better

  • its my technology

    watch?v=x2Vi7q-YrFA

  • thats the oldest pc i've seen in god knows how long xD

  • this sucks....

  • K morons, theres several ways to do this, I have done it with the accelerometers AND with ir, its not that hard to set up.

  • This is simple to do. u fukin idiots hu think it fake! Its by the sensing not the pointing. he not using ir is he.

  • hey man if ur gona insult people claiming its not fake and it is and then ask them to prove it well all u have to do is simplyhav a person with a wireless mouse simply do all the moving

  • C'mon, that's really a dumb way of using the Wiimote.

  • no, not really.

  • Your an idiot. I bet you will fail at life.

  • Might be fun to remind people to actually USE a wii remote before saying stuff like this is fake: This demo is done with the accelerometers, NOT the IR pointer, and without the pointer, there is no positioning. All you have here is tilt control for the mouse cursor.

  • Its not a fake, I made it yesterday, according that he use Wiinremote, he should hold the ''Z'' trigger button under the remote to scroll the arrow a way* faster. also, by the way he's using his remote when he scroll the arrow on sides,

I assume that he didn't installed the sensor bar mod.

  • there is no 'Z' trigger under the wiiremote.. its 'B'. 'Z' is found on nunchuck. however i don think the thing is fake, it probs does work, why shouldnt it?

  • Haha, I love the amount of people who think it's fake....haha. Get the program for yourself and try it!! haha. Some people....next the same people will be saying 9/11 wasn't an inside job. :)

  • I hear you. The WiiMote is just a frickin blue tooth device, come on (combined, of course, with a infrared sensor (that doesn't actually sense anything!)). Or perhaps it uses magic, I can't remember. If only we can figure a way to interface BT devices with a PC . . . we should get started on that!

  • It's using the wiimotes accelerometer.

  • I hear you this time. Looks like it's not going to be long before enough people join the dots. The tide is turning :)

  • Thats cool.

  • Thats because of a delay in the censour, its not made for windows, but if the come out with a driver and better bar for it mouse on

  • Oh cmon. OFC he ain't using the IR sensor. Because he's tilting the controller. if he was using the IR he should just have to point. The program is availeble. Get a wiimote, install the program and get a bluetooth reciever to your comp and see for yourself. For crying out loud..

  • there is too many windows open, it's fake

  • Looks Fake ... He makes some movements and there's no response from the cursor.

  • It looks fake because it's not utilizing the wiimote's IR sensor. Instead, it's using the accelerometer for tilting. As a result, you can't aim using the wiimote.

  • hmm i can do this with my cellphone, big woop wanna fight about it?

  • no u cant u twat unless ur fone has motion sensing u noob. its done with the movement not pointing at it.

  • Those "fake" criers are funny. They were there after the videos about the sensor bar and now come creeping again. Seems they can't think for themselves and use something like Google for more information on topics. Wonder how they learned to write.

To all who do this "research" on the wiimote: keep it up. Maybe I'll get a wiimote just for fun. Imagine using it like a brush with a video projector. Painting without all those stains on the floor!

  • you must be really leet with all those windows up!!1

  • bad fake. movement does not match.

  • I hope you realize the nature of the wiimote's motion sensing. It's got an internal accelerometer, which can tell how fast it's accelerating, for example when someone swings the sword in Red Steel. So, ofcourse the movement doesn't match, asshat. It's determined by a ball and some springs inside a giant hunk of plastic.

  • Worst fake I have ever seen.

  • You're an idiot.

  • its not fake idiot.. its real. anyone with a wiimote and a bluetooth receiver can so this.

  • The pointer movement is based on the motion sensing in the remote. If you look closely, he is not really pointing at the screen, but tilting the remote to move the pointer.

This is really just a proof of concept. Maybe later you'll see people playing Counter Strike with the Wiimote, but the thing has only been available for a few weeks so far.

  • THERE IS a fucking driver for windows to use this. the wiimote is a frigging bluetooth device, you know. what a bunch of noobs. You just say yes or no acording to some stupid list of whats posible and what is not and don't care to think about it about it's feasibility even por a moment. They are all electronic components, so at first look, there's no reason why it wouldn't work. you have to look more deep to see if its possible or not, which I highly doubt any of you did. So shut the fuck up.

  • well im sure its possible to accomplish its just that in this video it CLEARLY wasn't done

  • Prove how "clearly" it "wasn't" done.

  • A FUCKING driver ??? Software is reproducing now ... hmmmm .... LOL

  • NO Friggin way!!

  • So, for the people who say it's fake, you go ahead and swim in your pool of ignorance...or you could maybe get a degree in computer science or engineering!

Let me guess, you punks have a degree in....performing arts? No wait, economics....oh wait! I know! You've all got a GED!

  • are you serious? lol, its CLEARLY fake, the pointer doesn't align with the movement of the wii remote AT ALL. Not that it couldn't be done..it just hasn't been done here

  • its not perfect but tis not fake... get a clue.

  • how do you figure? there are times in the video where you can see the remote is moving a large distance and the cursor doesnt even react, it doesnt even jump to the remotes new location or anything...

  • Hey dipshit! It's not based on the wiimote's position it's based on the goddamn tilt.

  • A degree in computer science is required to work in Mcdonalds. At least, everyone who works at Mcdonalds has a compsci degree.

  • LMAO

  • even if it wasn´t fake...seems cursor movement is so friggin lame it wouldnt be worth using

  • the purpose of the video is to demonstrate to people that a driver has been created for windows.. granted its not perfect yet, its only been a couple of weeks. give it time. secondly this is a huge step forward for those of us interested in running linux on the wii, as you would need a driver for linux to read the wiimote as a mouse.

  • I believe it can be done, however, much of the cursor movement in this doesn't correspond to the movement of the Wiimote. Is there any way you can show us this but with the graphical readout of the input open in one of the windows? Possibly move that window as well, so we can compare the cursor movements to the readout to the movement of the Wiimote?

  • Wtf! What a fake! It's really the worst fake I see long time ago.

  • yeah... That IS really fake

  • Esto es más falso que un duro de cartón

  • kitties! :D

  • YOU ARE A SMACKTARD!

  • fake, obvious

  • you are an idiot

  • ur the biggest dumbass ive ever seen... dont make assumptions. "fake obvious" how old are you? 12? No maybe even less. 7 Maybe. Ok lets say its fake you want to tell me how Einstein? dont make conclusions like that u ignorant fool

  • Actually, its not fake. The exe is available for download (I have it myself) and it does semi-work. I can't get the Wiimotes accelerometers working, but that is because my Wiimote isn't FULLY connected to the PC)

  • its cool but i think im gonna stick with a mouse for now

  • So fake..

  • Its not fake. But only motion sensing works now so you definitely would NOT want to use this for and FPS'ing. Although if they manage to extract the data being received from the wiimote's IR camera, that would definitely have some FPS potential down the line.

  • lol the idiots who call this fake are just that... idiots.

  • Would be really sweet if it isnt't fake...

  • this is not fake at all, haven't you seen the other videos?

  • if i can play counterstrike with my wiimote i will piss on myself.

i downloade the program he used but i need a bluetooth receiever on my laptop to try it.

  • how do you know it's fake?

I don't see any reason why this couldn't be done...

  • no, actually it isn't fake, yesterday i saw a forum somewhere and the guy actually let you download the .exe to make that work, I would try it, I really want to, but I don't have a wiimote, let-alone a wii

  • Nice work!

  • FAKE

  • Totally fake, and if it is real, the lag would make it unbearable to use.

  • lag? it communicates via bluetooth not the internets.. retard.

  • haha fake

  • I'mma have to crank up the sensitivity on my mouse settings lmao

  • excellent work, i've been waiting for someone to do it :D

    congrats !
