If you want to play action packed game gears 1 and 2 are for you. I love them both, but i also think they should of took the sniping form gears1 and put it into gears 2 but keep the actives as they are in gears 2. I think alot more people would of liked gears2 better if epic hadn't changed the sniping in it. I still give gears 2 a 9.99/10!
This game kicks GoW1's ass. It has so much more personality and flavor put into the characters, and there is actually sort of a story. Plus, an actual ending credits music, instead of low budget rap.
too bad they left the berserker locust out of this one, it added some puzzle to the game and difficulty and a bit of a "scary" element since they can't be stopped by any weapons except from the hammer of dawn. but the gameplay is way better like the chainsaw duels and more enemies this time so i would give a 7/10 since multiplayer could have been better indeed

I think it would be cool if instead of making a gears of war 3 next time, they should make a side story cold "Gears of war 2.5" where you play as the locust against the lambent or something. But playing as the locust on campaign at all would be cool

prolly halo 3 it has a fucking awesome multiplayer and campaign. but BF bad company and CoD 5 is awesome too. i recommend halo 3 :)

halo 3 man. my friend has both and he told me that gow2 is bad online but good story and i a halo fan with every halo game except wars loves halo 3. its great playing with friends and just building maps. +halo3 is AMAZING online!

You know, when the game first came out the campaign was alright and the online was awesome but now with all the lag and bullshit that happens in gears of war2 with/without the host advantage, it bores the hell out of you

silver membership = no online play, but its free and you can download games/demos/movies/themes and still communicate with friends but no online
gold = everything silver has, plus online.
you get 1 month of free gold live for 3 accounts, then you must pay $59.99 for a year gold membership

I think they fixed the gears online. Now i get to games in like 30 seconds instead of 10 minutes. Its great.
