I was sad to hear he had become diabetic. I lost my Father to diabetes. I always thought there was a higher powers hand in him not getting on that plane. He also once said that he wanted people to take his songs and sing them like they are their own. He sang the theme song for , The Dukes of Hazard. The car called The Rebel proudly hosts the Confederate Flag. There are some people trying to have it's image banned.

If you extrapolate you will see I was speaking to his Outlaw persona. He fought the system for the things he saw as wrong for the truths he held in higher regard than the monetary or political gains of ones that claimed to know better then he. He said "I am a black/white, yes/no, right/wrong person. I am a lot the same. I followed him through his life.
