Yeap, all set to max, and at 1920x1200 ress.

But this was recorded using CSS own recorder so it more or less records a demo file to a avi file at the fps you select :)

Erm... you sure thats whats is your new pc? Cuz Pentium 3 is like since the 90's and 8800 GTS AND HD 4870x2 dont work together. And if you gonna use Linux i recommend that you use nvidia, they have better driver support.

Havent checked my fps since I change gfxcard, got the ATi 4870x2 now so I should be at max(300) at all time since I was at 200-250 almost all the time with my 8800 GTS.

This was recorded @ 180 FPS if i dont remember wrong.

Well thats the fps I think I would get, havent checked it out. It might be that the source engine is more adapted to nvidia or something like that but if you got 4870x2 you should atleast have above 200 fps @ all time, on standard maps atleast.

hmm... when you download skins its not always just to put em in cstrike folder, offen theres a readme.txt or installnotes or something also with in the .rar archive. Try reading these. Should tell you how to install that perticular skin. :)
