Reconstruction of Dubrovnik

I visited there on the USS Saratoga back in 1985 and would love to go there again. the people were some of the friendliest in the world. the city was astonishing, and so clean. I didn't even see a cigarette butt on the street. then I drank the plumb Brandy and don't remember too much beyond that.

That's very impressive! Congratulations to the people of Dubrovnik for the amazing job and courage. This is the story of how things can turn bad very fast but with everyones help, stability is acomplished again! No words to describe this feeling!

We were there 5 years ago, my daughter 2 years ago and we will return in May. 99.9% has been repaired. Beautiful city of history. Just so sad that the Balkans have been a bloody battleground for centuries.
