No, Saladin was not Egyptian, he was a Kurdish Muslim, and a well-known general, placed in Egypt by Nur ad-Din, appointed vizier by al-Adid.
I am a Christian, but still, i must say Saladin was a good politician.

Saladin was Turkish müslim king who had a country in Egypt..it was one of the first countries for Müslüm Turks.. Eyyubiler, İhşitler ( Akşitler),Tolunoğulları are other MÜslim -Turkish countries that set in Egypt by Turkish.. i hope this sentences are enough to explain we all Turkish real history..
