  • what an ego

  • What a pile of dog shit.

  • wow the brainwashed slaves in this vid are APPALLING.

  • Boy were you guys wrong or what!!!?? Harper ended up being a total dick.

  • @cjarcus How... oh I don't fucking care anymore, go suck off Ignatieff.

  • @canuckleful Oh my, what an intelligent retort.... You lose...

  • @cjarcus It's just I've seen like, 25 people bashing Harper,on 31 videos, and I know it's not cause of him, it's cause they, you, want to hate their leader. I'd actually like to know, what's your problem with him?

  • @canuckleful It's pretty simple. He wants to turn my country into the United States.

  • @000snow000 Is that right... Then we have a common problem; there's a clown running for Prime Minister who's trying to turn my country into the United States, because all though he was born in Canada, his decades in the US have made him grow partial to it. And now he wants Manifest Destiny.

  • @canuckleful Ignatieff living abroad is an advantage, he's someone who has a better understanding of the world and foreign policy so the idea that he's not a true Canadian is silly to me. If you look at what the parties and leaders stand for / what ideas they have, it's clear that Harper is the one who's trying to turn us into Americans. Trying to get rid of the gun registry, against gay marriage, more private healthcare, oh and lets not forget that he wanted us to go to Iraq back in the day...

  • @000snow000 It could be seen as an advantage, but how do you know he's not working for them? I know that sounds ridiculous, but it's possible. Also, have you read any of his books?

  • @canuckleful working for them? You're right, that does sound ridiculous.

  • @000snow000 Well I mean, he's an influential man in the US, CIA offers him millions to try to be PM, and start making decisions in American interest. That's an extreme scenario of course. But have you read Charlie Johnson in the flames? It is well planted throughout that book how much Ignatieff doesn't care about us.

  • @canuckleful Honestly, I think you need to realize that we are really not important enough for the US to go through that much trouble. We're already their biggest trading partner, that's all they want from us and they got it. I haven't read the book you refer to and I think you shouldnt take everything at face value either. Because an author criticizes someone, doesn't mean what they conclude from it is true. Noone would run for Prime Minister of a country they didn't care about.

  • @000snow000 That would cut both ways, wouldn't you agree?

  • @canuckleful of course! Which is why I maintain that I know nothing about Stephen Harper as a person, but I can look at what he and his party stand for and know right away that I would never want him in a majority... ever.

  • @000snow000 And with that; you win. I just like what Harper has done so far, but if the Canadian people decide he'll stop making good descisions, I respect that. But I would hate to see Ignatieff as PM. That would actually break my heart.

  • what a joke

  • Tony Clement has a huge communications problem

On you tube he says "i believe in needle sharing " during his misspeak

lets give Harper a reason to put tony down for his lack of communications skills,OTTAWA - A tape recording at the centre of Prime Minister Stephen Harper's $3.5-million defamation suit against the Liberal party was not altered as the prime minister has claimed

  • lmao

  • hahahahahahhaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahhaahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahhahahahahhahahahahhahahahhaaa

  • Snooty elitist crappy commercial. Where are the real, typical Canadians represented in this ad. This is why Conservatives will get an ass kicking in the election- if they just want to come off as being only for goody-2 shoes suburban Canadians then they'll suffer at the polls. Where are the middle class, the poor, visible minorities? Another stupid Canadian TV advertisement that thinks no other Canadians exist except preppy Rosedale types. Show diversity you moron Conservative campaign officials

  • Sure the ad has Asians, but this is a cheapshot play by advertisers- not too long ago Asians were looked on as invaders and selfish as a community across Canada's big cities- but now that Canadian banks/businesses are getting huge investments from new Hong Kong immigrants, suddenly its the fashion amongst Canadian Elitists to smile and hug rich Asians with money. That's the only reason it was decided to put 2 Asians in this otherwise snotty commercial.

  • well we can vote for the snooty elitist greens whos leader calls us stupid. Or the snooty elitist liberals who say we'll spend all our extra money on beer and popcorn or the snooty elitest NDP who think were incapable of managing our own lives without their socialist bull. Dions green tax is only going to hurt the poor and middle class anyways and the greens are backing that plan. In typical NDP fashion were expected to give up all our earnings no questions asked for social programs we wont use.

  • that's all good and well, but tell me if this ad -which is my sole focus here- does not seem to you to be reaching out only at a snooty squeaky clean level. Conservatives have no interest in appealing to the lower and middle class Canadians - with this ad, it shows Conservatives are just after preppy 'Rosedale'/'Summerhill' neighbourhood types - the Elites are not a majority in Canada and for that reason, the Conservatives will got whooped at the polls.

  • the polls put Harper at about 41% popular support with numbers like that he has to be appealing to more then just the upper middle and upper class Canadians. His commercial is likely targeted at liberal suburban living Canadians living in Ontario and Quebec who make up the undecided vote in the election.

  • If you go to suburban Canadian living in Ontario guess what you see- a whole lot of visible minorities. Harper's advertising campaign is clearly clueless at how to appeal to REAL Canadians-> Once again, they are targeting only preppy elitists and 'noveau riche' Asians from Hong Kong. Alot of his support are 'comfort food' people- people who settle for not making big changes in their lives- that's why except for the times of Mulroney's pummelling while in power, elections are usually close-ish.

  • From what I've seen with news interviews and such Harper is doing okay with minorities like Chinese and Indian people, not because he has done anything good for them but because he hasen't done anything to really annoy them. That seems to be the concenous in BC anyways. Maybe something will happen and Harper won't be Prime Minister again but I think anyone who says he won't at least do very well during the election is burying their head in the sand. He seems to have a steady power base as well.

  • I don't doubt your analysis- but its easy for him to get more support going if he stops his campaign putting out this Rosedale -rose garden- type of advertising and shows he wants to be representative of all Canadians in all their shades and various economic levels-that's the real majority.

  • Oh I hate the image he's portraying to. I don't like alot of his policies either like his 2011 withdrawal date I wouldnt be voting for him if there was anyone else really. Options are kind of slim though.

  • haha=> except for the time of Mulroney, I think in most elections we see slim choices amongst the parties.

  • You go Steve! Get that majority!

  • Stephen Harper is a fucking neo-con asshole!
