@alexfoti76 Yes people do, and just so you know its not every day that a cruise ship sails through a tropical low. They are quite enjoyable in calmer conditions, the people on this cruise were discounted and given slight refunds.

ok...I just commented, but I have another comment, especially after reading some of the other comments. Why didn't they issue a general order a hell of a lot sooner to go to their rooms? They'd be safer anywhere than that area. A hallway would be immensely safer. They seem to evacuate passengers at the end, but this should have been done much, much sooner.

I'll tell you what. The heavy officer is a damn fine officer. You see him reassuring the bartender, patting him on the back. A few minutes later when no one is looking he pulls out a handkerchief and wipes his head, he's obviously scared as well but taking charge and reassuring everyone. He's keeping everyone calm. At 4:12 a violent rock occurs and the chairs go sliding. He runs to the woman very first thing to protect her. Then the wings the other way and he shields her with his body.
