I really liked this mall in the mid 1990s!! I remember the Exhilararium (hopefully spelled right) with carnival games and video games. I enjoyed the Fuddruckers restaurant up the street and the Ritz movie theater!
It is so sad how this once popular mall has essentially become a "dead mall". I don't think the whole "town center" idea is going to save it considering many of the empty storefronts are still empty and a few more empty ones popped up in the food court
This year they lost Pet Company pet store and they will lose Borders book store at the end of Jan. 2010. A new store called Born in the USA opened and then closed. It hadn't been there a month. It was a t-shirt shop with hardly any inventory. PREIT might've saved money by not embarking on the Voorhees Town Center venture and just leaving the mall as was.
Spencer's is leaving as of Feb. 2011.
