Thats funny, I spoke at length to the producer of Doomsday Preppers in Denver last year. One of the things I recommended to him was filming in a central location to preserve the privacy of individuals on the show. I must say I am supprised that Nat Geo didn't vet this guy before moving forward.

He repeats claims that have been debunked time and time again, making a living from it. Only difference this time he has a Multi-Level-Marketing website and is selling the scam via a party plan.

It was the arc bunker scam artist who lied to us all INCLUDING National Geographic - that's why we didn't shoot the footage because there WAS NO BUNKER - he was selling fake bunkers and trying to get Nat Geo to publicize it so he could get seed money to get it together- I didn't want to be shot at my home - as any prepper would understand:)

Hmm interesting, I don't think there would be so much hype debunking Thrive etc if he wasn't actually charging to view the movie. Soooo glad you pulled off your Thrive promo. I had started to watch it a couple months ago, did some research about the people involved, and my gut instict was to ignore the film. Yes, there are technologies we haven't grasped (except possibly under top secret ops), Tesla died for these ideas.

Thanks for re-thinking "Thrive". Most of the folks who support that documentary are either in cult like situations or are fundamentalist in some way. Apparently everyone out there is so intoxicated with Peter Joseph's Zeitgeist--the only real viral video out there--that every group out there is trying it. Also not trying to criticize you here, but being a prepper with a tremedously high profile is probably not smart. You could be the first people contacted by FEMA, if ya know what I mean.
once i had an american company lie to me about service, what i did was i published the whole story on my websites. and other websites..then they fixed the problem and asked to remove the "bad advertisements" which i did eventually..good luck friends

I'm still kind of on the fence with the whole "Thrive" documentary, There are some good ideas in there, not to be dismissed which will probably wake a few more people up. There is some symbolism in their however that looks fairly ominous, which may pertain to a 'herding in' of folk with it being a movement and all (kinda like the zeitgeist movement), but it's worth a gander at least. But anyhoo you're an inspiration Morningmaya! Keep doing what you do! :)

Thanks for re-thinking "Thrive". Most of the folks who support that documentary are either in cult like situations or are fundamentalist in some way. Apparently everyone out there is so intoxicated with Peter Joseph's Zeitgeist--the only real viral video out there--that every group out there is trying it. Also not trying to criticize you here, but being a prepper with a tremedously high profile is probably not smart. You could be the first people contacted by FEMA, if ya know what I mean.

I am really put off by the every man for himself mentality with no solution for the survival of all and community. What some of these people are creating is a world that will not function or last. I know I totally plan on taking care of the elderly people near me - I do know some preppers get mad finally that noone is preparing and feel that they are just shouting to the wind... anyway this bunker guy is a fraud and selling fake bunkers and so I am going to tell people to watch out for him! Noone needs to waste money.

These people have much division among themselves just like the so called "preppers" but the ideal, the idea behind it is good, constructive the right way sustainable living for all justice for all. As far as being realistic now, ain't going to happen, people are too selfish still for it now.

I'm still kind of on the fence with the whole "Thrive" documentary, There are some good ideas in there, not to be dismissed which will probably wake a few more people up. There is some symbolism in their however that looks fairly ominous, which may pertain to a 'herding in' of folk with it being a movement and all (kinda like the zeitgeist movement), but it's worth a gander at least. But anyhoo you're an inspiration Morningmaya! Keep doing what you do! :)
