I really have to hand it to the guys who go right up in front of these huge beasts who can swallow them whole without thinking about it, not just these whale sharks which I know dont ea humans, but anything for that matter. Most of these things are like vaccuums when it comes to eating.... I aint goin near that shit >.>....
Jim, I am not sure where this exact video was shot, but my wife and I just swam with them in the Gulf of Mexico last week. They are feeding on Plankton at present time until August or so. It was 240USD per person to swim with them, we did it out of Isla Muejes. This is right near Tulum and Playa del Carmen. Let me tell you, IT IS AN AMAZING!!! GOOD LUCK

that is a totally false statement. the whale shark will never eat fish on purpose, even if krill is scarce. my dad has written many papers on the whale shark and the only time that the whale shark gets fish into it's stomach is when they get accidentally trapped in its mouth.
