  • Nice review. Cheers.

  • LOL at INSTANT impression! echate un wacko! vato!

  • its such a nice bike! but the front lights just look fucking hideous! like if the budget was shortened and designers couldn't finish their work...but the rest looks so sweet!

  • @nEEdLzZz The Street Triple has always has taken a bit of the "roadster" look from bikes that we would call vintage these days. I actually prefer the round headlights on a bike like this without a windscreen (not sure if can call it a naked bike). The new 2012 model looks like they've changed the lights to look more angular like the Japanese brands -- I don't like them :(. I'm going to have to buy an older Street Triple R when I decide to buy one.

  • I hope to get one of these beauties soon! :)

  • Dr martin. Skin head shoes

  • what are those shoes?!

  • WOW, this was your INSTANT impression? You're a great observer.

  • I WANT!!!!

  • This will be mine in 1 year!!! (maybe)

  • @paolo27th Mine too! lol if the funds work out..

  • @paolo27th So? Buy it? I'm buying mine really soon.

  • what about the small ankle steering ? what about the heat on your nuts due to the "Y" exhaust pipe under the seat ? You're hiding a few issues sir :P

  • Brilliant straight forward review! I'm seriously considering this bike having gone through a triumph tiger 1050, ktm superduke, yamaha fz6, and ktm 990 sm-t, all within the last 3years. Why?, because it combines lightness/nimbleness with fun and character. I've test ridden so many bikes recently and its the only one I didn't want to get off.

The only thing causing me to hesitate is the lack of any type of fairing or luggage carrying capacity for occassional touring. But what the heck

  • @elementlead1 you can get a small windshield put on if you choose. and im sure with the popularity of this bike. somebody is gonna come up with an aftermarket set of bags for it. dont worry.

  • @elementlead1 I've been asking just today to buy the new 2010 Street Triple R, and they show me a back support (it looked quite discreet, even if I didn't saw the arms that are supposed to keep it in place, so maybe here is the surprise) for a hard case, easily removable from it. Also different case sizes available. SO if stll interested, just ask, maybe it's a new accesoire, (I didn't saw it on the web site)

  • Great review... I like that you did a bike... of course it doesn't hurt that you reviewed the bike I want to buy next when I replace my FZ6 either...
