  • Poor Jerry..... He is on air in this clip, & a few months ago, I saw him in a wheel chair in a photo online. He isn't doing too well huh???? :-(

  • @IntoTheLens827 I heard he is doing better now. <3

  • @FragglevisionReturns Ahhhh :-) That's very good to hear. I don't like seeing good people in a wheel chair or on Air.

  • It's like seeing Clark Kent next to Superman.

  • it's the Jerry nelson show.jerry nelson himself,the count,herry monster,and sherlock

  • @Terragirl13 I know; I also thought of "A Muppet Family Christmas" as the Jerry Nelson Show, as many of his characters appear; in addition to Emily Bear (Fozzie's mom!) and Floyd Pepper and Lew Zealand, we also have Count von Count and Herry Monster and the Two-Headed Monster (though he actually performs one half of that monster), even some of his more minor characters like Simon Soundman!

  • its like a jerry nelson episode with all the characters of his that appear.

  • I learned a lot of interesting things from reading the comments on this video! I would like to thank everyone who posting them!

  • I can hear the way Jerry Nelson's voice as The Count,it sounds nasaly instead of ever he says ewahr.

  • List of cameos

    1. Jerry Nelson

    2. Sherlock Hemlock

    3. Herry Monster

    4. Fat Blue

    5. Frazzletone Singer

    6. Murray Monster

  • @weened1 I don't see a Frazzletone anywhere.

  • @Garrettk41 it was my mistake

  • @weened1 No problem.

  • You Can Tell That Most Season 40 Episodes Have At Least One Parental Bonus. Usually, It's a Character Cameo, But Sometimes They Will Reference Classic Sketches (With The "Ladybug's Picnic" Special at Hooper's or "Alligator King" Brand Crayons), as Well as Some of the Actors Who Worked on Sesame Street, Including The Late Ones Such as Richard Hunt, and of Course, Jim Henson.

  • @FlyingDuckMan360 That's right. One of them even referenced the infamous I-beam skit!

  • Good to see that Jerry was still able to do him.

  • 0:43- There's Jerry! Oh my, is that an oxygen tank hooked to his nose? I certainly hope he isn't sick.

  • @ExplorerDS6789 I heard he is doing much better now, thank goodness. But he and Caroll Spinney are getting on in years. I'm amazed Caroll Spinney is still often able to perform as Big Bird. You can also notice the Count's voice sounds a little different compared to how he sounded in the 1970s - 1990s.

  • @wileyk209zback In some instances Caroll isn't in the suit, they just dub in his voice later. For example, in the Journey to Ernie sketches, it was always Caroll's assistant inside the costume.

  • @ExplorerDS6789 Matt Vogel was inside the suit AND did the voice in JtE, and some other SS stuff.

Matt has since become Caroll's understudy and has taken over some of Jerry's "Muppet Show" characters.

  • @ExplorerDS6789 Caroll told me he now has emphusema (if that is spelt right *em-fuh-zee-muh*) from smoking a lot. He no longer puppeteers the Count. Matt Vogel (Caroll's understudy for BB) puppeteers him and Jerry dubs in the voice, since puppeteering can strain him.

  • Cheers for Jerry Nelson! :)

  • First to comment! I never thought I'd see Sherlock back on Sesame Street again.
