  • Next to "The Price Is Right", Pyramid's opening used to get me hyped up for the show.

  • You just don't see this kind of fun and excitement in game shows anymore.

  • Probably won't be able to do that, little too busy these days, this was done like 10 years or so...enjoy!

  • Who was that at 0:54, Harry Anderson?

  • What weeks did new flashback clips were added? I know the last week of 1985 had new ones.

  • That is wonderful

  • You're right, Rita Moreno is at 0:16 but that was from the first week of 1984 as I can tell by the white goosed-necked microphones and the red backwall as you see there.

  • Maybe you should do another one. From the 1985-1986 episodes.

  • If I'm not mistaken, the last celebrity is Melody Thomas Scott. She was always one of my favorite Pyramid players, and, as you can see in this clip, she was always so genuinely happy for her civilian partner.

  • Who's that at 0:16, and who's that at 0:56?

  • 0:16 is Rita Moreno, actress. 0:56 is Harry Anderson, Night Court

  • Thanks. BTW, was that really Teresa Ganzel at 0:35? I don't recall her ever receiving the clues in the wiiner's circle.

  • No that blond was the contestant.

  • Yeah, Teresa was the one sitting before her. :)

  • I loved Betty White from 0:49-0:51. She seemed so happy for her partner winning $10,000.

Betty: (Hugs partner tight) Oh, that's wonderful, baby! How sweet... :-)

  • My favorite is at 0:24, it's almost like, "see how easy that was?"

  • my favorite one was only 3 seconds long! The two women at 0:16-0:18. The hair was flying in the air. That was tight!!!!

  • That is just par for the course when you have Betty as a partner on a game show. She really pulls for you & loves playing the game.

  • Who was the celebrity as 0:33?

  • In the clip before it was Jo Anne Worley, but at :34 and after it was Teresa Ganzel.

  • That's what I meant; for the contestant who won $25,000.

  • Oh... ok. Sorry bout that. ;)

  • Jo Anne Worley. :)

  • I used to love how that would open any show!

  • My favorite win was at 0:16; Rita Moreno and that lady contestant! I guess $10,000 was a lot back then, huh?

  • It was nice payday, though not nearly as much as it was in 1973, when The $10,000 Pyramid hit the airwaves.

And for the record, Ricci would still have a multimedia section on his website, but people kept ripping off clips and posting them... here.

  • Yes, but in 1973, if you won the $10,000, you retired. Here you could win more. I think by the end of this run the limit was $75,000.

  • Dude, even if I won only 10,000 today, I'd still be jumping up and down like a mook. If I won 100,000, I'd probably faint.

  • My favorite win had to be the one at 0:28 where both the celebity and the contestant threw their hands up and screamed. It must have taken both of them by surprise!

  • Can you find an episode featuring a $25,000 win where its almost like a $100,000 win with audience members flooding the stage?

  • Very nice...I used to love seeing the contestant and celebrity always jump up and hug over $10,000, back when that was considered a lot of money on a game show. :-)

  • It's fun when the really confident celebrities just throw their hands up and grin big like, "See how easy that was?" (like at 0:19 and 0:24)

  • These are great wins, they're amazing!

But, I'm agreeing with nextbarker. What happened to your multimedia section, as well as your games?

  • Maybe you - post a video opening for the $25,000 pyramid. I can't find one on Youtube. If there is one, post a link under this.

  • Wouldn't it be awesome if somebody posted a New $25,000 Pyramid episode from late 1983-early 1984? :)

  • Here is an interesting clip containing various winner's circle wins on the show. The majority of these are $10,000 wins, but there are several $25,000 wins in here as well. Before the show would begin, there would be at least two or three examples of these kinds of wins. Great to see. This could be a "variety pack" of wins!!

  • OMG... I have been LOOKING for this for a long time... I watched it all the time when it was on your multimedia website and I thought it was the bomb diggity! Is there any way that you can share this video with me so I won't have to be online to view it? By the way... I love your website!

  • Nice video, these are good, YOU SHOULD GET MULTIMEDIA SECTION AGAIN, JOHN
