  • 1:16 - 1:25 is possibly the best ten seconds in musical history. Sends chills down my spine every time I hear it.

  • I wish they could play this entire song with the happiest days of our lives and not just another brick in the wall part 2 like they always do on the radio.. its imcomplete to me without this..

  • @Domichu311 The entire song up to 1:43 IS The Happiest Days of Our Lives. That's the whole of it - the song is only that long.

  • remember the entire class i was in shouting this at one of our substitutes back in 1979

  • Love how The Wall is all just one song but it entertains us it doesnt matter how many times we listen to The Wall it just gets better and better. Thank you Pink Floyd for a great album and great songs.

  • 4 people don't like to slow ride

  • 4 people were deaf

  • To jardvcxz, The Happiest Days of Our Lives is the first part of Another Brick in the Wall Part II. It's kind of like The Hellion/Electric Eye by Judas Priest, The Beast and the Harlot/Burn it Down by Avenged Sevenfold, and these two other songs by Queen, but I can't remember their names...so, yeah..........................................

  • I remember a long time ago I downloaded an MP3 of Another Brick 1+ The Happiest Days + Another Brick 2 + Another Brick 3 + Goodbye and it was fucking awesome. I wish someone would upload it onto youtube that way

  • your title should be reversed because hapiest days of our lives comes before.

  • Best. Bassline. Ever.

  • why the fuck wont those teachers just leave us alone?

  • love the instrumentals at 1:30 - 1:45

  • Love the African congo-e drum part before Prt. 2 starts

  • Good god that is the best damn bassline of all time...

  • This song is confusing. First there's just this song, then there's parts II and III, and what the hell is this "Happiest Days of our Lives" thing?

    I'm confused...

  • happiest days of our lives is the begging, the whole " we grew up and went to school there were certain teachers who would hurt the children anyway they could" part. the entire "the wall" album is one big song, you can hear the same riff in almost all the songs.

  • @camgd500 Run Like Hell is the perfect example of that

  • @jaredvcxz this video is "Happiest Days of our lives" followed by "another brick in the wall part II"

  • @jaredvcxz having these 2 together is the best combination, wall pts 1 and 3 are a bit wankofferous these ones are the good ones

  • @jaredvcxz iight so its just telling a story using multiple layers listen to the whole album to understand it

  • @jaredvcxz The "We don't need no education" song, Another Brick in the Wall Pt. II is considered the classic, defining song of the three. When someone says Another Brick in the Wall, they're usually talking about part II. "The Happiest Days of Our Lives" is the song leading up to and into Pt. 2. It blends into it in a similar fashion to Sgt. Pepper's/Help From My Friends or The Waiting/St. Jimmy by Green Day. It is, however, a separate song, although usually played on the radio with Pt. 2.

  • The scream from the helicopter in the beginning is in Russian: "Pit, ya zdes! Gans, delo yest!" It means "Pete, i'm here! Gans, there's a job for you!" Now that could that mean?

  • No, it's "You! Yes you! Stand still laddie!"

  • Cheeky little mites, aren't they? I heard the first one, but the last one is kind of iffy.

  • I did

man those are some funny kids

  • Has anyone besides me heard the last things yelled by the children in the end of the song ?? BUZZ OFF ! and YOU AZZHOLE!!! Last words the kids yell at 5:25 & 5:32.

I cant be the only one who has noticed this !

  • youre right they do lol

  • I didnt even know. Its sound so fucking low and everything when you hear the last second.

  • wow youre right... good job man

  • @derek7521

I Think That its Funny when he yells "You cant have any puddin' if you don't eatch'ur meat

  • @derek7521 hah I just heard it : )

  • @derek7521 Hah I just heard it : )

  • @derek7521 Man, have you got good ears to hear that!

  • amazing. how does music today replace this my fellow rock and roll bretherin?

  • i have no clue

  • @nbafreak41 By taking the vocalist from Alice in Chains, the guitarist from Rage Against The Machine, the drummer from Jane's Addiction and the bassist from Porno for Pyros and throwing them in the studio

  • @nbafreak41 there is no music today just mass produced excrement marketed for simple minded zombies who have no taste and have no original thoughts of their own.

  • LEGENDARY!

  • wellcome to the talent show

  • Awsome song!!!!!

  • TYVM YOU ROCK!

  • omg

  • Pink Floyd is my favorite band. I love the guitar solo on another brick in the wall.

  • same here man same here

  • omg i love the instrumentals in happiest days of our lives

  • thanks for posting both songs together, some people just add part 2, and it doesn't feel right listening to it without happiest days of our lives played right before it. thanks!

  • Very true.
