they need hook straps and tie it to a pull point and shorten it. Cable is good on a winch but not as a tug of war. cable is strongest when slowly pulled not yanked
1 year ago man, people on youtube really need to chill out. i was just saying i don't think a ford could have done it. they way the wheel base and other stuff (idk why) fords just seem to get stuck easier. thats all im trying to say.
^^
Not true in any way i had a 08 f150 that pulled a schoolbus out of a ditch, strongest truck i no, for hit the nail on the head when it comes to trucks deff built proof, cant wait to see how the 98 cherokee on 38.5inch gumbo mudders turn out
You know, in south tx we use a 4" strap and tug the shit out of it: while the stuck driver punches it in reverse. works everytime. Ive pulled out full sized Blazers and Bronco's with boggers with my XJ and BFG AT's. Works every time.

next time you are stuck in that situation tie your strap around the powered tire and onto itself again and to a tree and simply drive out of it it works every time.
oh thats annoying because that wrangler isnt heavy enough to hook onto either. ya i have so much strap i could be stuck in the middle of the desert an just about reach my house.
useless video

when i'm stuck a frend of mine used his winch while he had his jeep in reverse to help keep his jeep in one spot.

That would normally work, but in this situation we didn't have enough straps to reach any trees!

Do you mean that when you drive the strap will wrap around your axle and pull you out?
automobile91 4 years ago
no around your tire like a winch.
dcextreme4x4 4 years ago
How do you control your strap from slipping from the tire's surface?
automobile91 4 years ago
I just wrap it arround the tire and sinch it tight as i can and then i wrap it one more time.

turn the jeep around and put about 6' of slack in it and hit it hard. just pull him out the first time.
