  • When I hear this I imagine a prisoner walking slowly out to his hanging, a crowd of people watching as he looks to the sky appreciating all the good things on life for the last time. Another outstanding composition.

  • It would be nice to see what section/instrument plays which part, to get a better understanding of the orchestration.

  • Hey man big fan congrats on the Album

  • OMG! I AM LOVING THIS! YOU ARE VERY TALENTED!!! <3 <3 <3 Amazing! :') I love all your musics! :D

  • i would totally want to listen to this at school this is indulging dreamy and amazing if you want this to be popular i can help with that 1. i can put it on several websites 2. get it around to music people who can publish it. I would be glad to be a part in this wonderful uber-epic amazing crazy awome, aZome, cool production of music!!!!!!

  • Simply amazing, I'm speechless... Simply amazing, graceful and very soothing. Very Medieval, in a good way. Dragon of the Mist I think is my favorite of yours though. You out-do yourself. :)

  • Why isn't this in production? You are very talented.

  • @2013branth Thanks! :-)

  • This reminds me of the Night Angel trilogy by Brent Weeks.

  • to me....this piece is very monotonous. This piece really has no variety of texture or color. It's feels like it's plotting along at somewhere around quarter note = 84-86

I feel that if you tried to vary the instruments you use and not always keep the tempo at quarter-note=80 (which is more well suited for when you have more things going on at once) you will achieve a greater feel of flow and color

I'm not trying to insult you're writing because I respect what you do, so don't hate me for it lol

  • this is soooooooo boring...good LORD.

  • It almost sounds like thier should be words

  • How do you write this pieces?? I need some help.

  • Great, as your mozart dream. For me it's perfect.

I think you can try harder expression :) (something like the mozart requiem, or bethoven 3th symphonie for example).

Then now i will to listen all your channel :D

  • oh my god!!!! my mind has been blown!!!

truly amazing, inspiring, epic and uber!

  • @AerialStoner Thank you! :-)

  • @WizardWalk im sorry, idk if i overlooked it or what but do you have the sheet music to this?

  • All of music are very inspiring indeed! Can I advise one thing if I may? :)

Try to use more CC11 (Expression) on in each instrument to create more lively feel to instruments. Making them stay one dynamics may reduce its possibility to be more sounding good music. Otherwise, great!

  • You really bring to life the meaning of 'music'. All music nowadays is screaming and horrible bass, but I love this. It invokes magic and imagination - daring escapes and broken love, renewed friendships and betrayal. So much imagination - It makes my head swim! And that's a good thing! You have captured the essence of fantasy within these magnificent sounds. I praise your good works, and courage, for it takes courage to stand against the modern world. Magical.

  • @AncientLegendSeeker Yes, that adventurous fantasy magic feeling is really what I love. I'm not sure it takes much courage though, as I simply can't resist it, it's self-indulgence! :-) Thank you so much for all your kind words!

  • @AncientLegendSeeker bit of a bleak outlook, don't you think? But I digress. Calling the piece inappropriate for the title is narrow thinking. I hear this and think small picture. It's like looking into the private life and thoughts of the assassin, minor plot details that flesh(him or her) out. What got them to where they are at the start of the story? Obviously they aren't wicked at heart, or the mood would be entirely different.

  • I like your works!!!especially I loved this!! :D

  • @Alastair0007 Many thanks! :-)

  • Wow..... I'm writing a book (and play violin) and this music describes my main character's personality. Man, you are a GENIUS!!

  • Many thanks! :-)

  • I want thie program you used, but I can't get it!!!!!! It is so annoying... Mrf.

  • why not? which program?

  • the personal orchestra. my computer is so archaic.

  • I also love composing my own music, I have a few of my very early things on my YouTube channel. What program did you use to make this? It's very lovely!

  • Thanks! This was made with Garritan Personal Orchestra, Overture 4, and then the animation was made with Music Animation Machine. I will be sure to check out some of your compositions soon! :-)

  • how about "Faded Memories"?

  • Would you ever consider putting up sheet music for this peice?

  • I wouldn't mind, but doing proper sheet music formatting takes a bit too long for me... I could post a MIDI file though

  • HEY! is this in F# minor?

  • great job! it feels like a Square-Enix RPG calibre soundtrack or something..

  • Thanks! :-)

  • how do you get so many instruments to play at once? i can only have 3 mixing channels. Then again, I compose on a program and then put into Cubasis VST because my torrented version of GPO didn't have GPO studio, although it said that it did. =|

  • the begginning seems more triumphant than happy...maybe it is hard to tell but it is amazing!

  • "Triumphant" ... yes! I think that fits better :-D

    Many thanks! :-)

  • yay i was right for once....thx

  • oh idk if relaxed is the right word... but something

  • i wouldn't say its too happy for the title the beginning fits the title perfectly but later i think it gets too relaxed for the king's assassin but it still is a pretty awesome piece... why don't you get your pieces published and not just on you tube?

  • Really, what word is there to describe the beauty of the music? Mesmerizing, inspiring, elevates the soul...still looking for the right word!

  • Many thanks, glad you liked it! :-)

  • veeerry epic!!!

  • Thanks! :-)

  • Subcribed to you. Added to the favorites. From now on, you are my Maestro ;-) I was looking for inspirations to my serious composition - I found it right here! It is A-W-E-S-O-M-E!

  • Many thanks! :-)

  • I love your pieces! They are brilliant!

  • Thank you! :-)

  • Please upload this to your website for mp3 download.

  • I love it at 7:00, very professional.

  • Wow!!!

    This is like professional film-music!!!!!!

    I LOVE IT!!!!

  • I have to say this is one of my favorites you've done. This, Knights of the round table, and trio for flute, oboe and harp are my favorites. And this one I just find awesome because it's very... there isn't even a word for it, just magnificent.

I'd really enjoy seeing sheet music for this entire song, but i'm assuming that would be a lot of music and work lol.

  • Mind if I ask why this piece isn't on your website? I would love to download it

  • Many thanks! I just haven't uploaded the MP3 yet, there are a few others I need to upload as well ... I also got your message and need to respond to that, I'm just so behind on my Internet correspondences, I hope you'll forgive me! My free time has been in the clutches of NaNoWriMo lately ... :-/

  • I think your music is very mature, with a clear sense of style and direction. Plus, I really like your counterpoint.

You've been doing this for a long time, haven't you ;)

  • Many thanks!

  • My opinion..music fits perfectly and you deserve a helluva lot more people watching these so your prowess can be seen and heard by the many instead of by the few, by all means you deserve it :D

  • I kinda dont think he music fits, but maybe. Its almost a story, like the king dies as the prince runs away or something.

I like the drum set with the orchestra. Very interesting.. (in a good way of course!)

  • very good indeed! you captured the medieval music well. there is a book i just read called "the king's assassin" by Robin Hobb, and it is pretty much as your music describes. you should read it, if you havent yet. how old are you? you could go far!

  • Ooh a book? Oops, didn't mean to steal the title! I will have to look it up! :-) Many thanks for watching!!

  • Wow! Great job! I think the title fits the pieces pretty well.

Have you ever thought of entering a composition competition for your age group? I think you'd do pretty well.

  • I did try entering some competitions a while ago, but haven't had much luck yet. Many thanks for your kind words!

  • it's just a song for a king's killer, having to seem innocent, cheeriness is the perfect cover.

your pop-up screens were distracting ( I'm supposed to be doing something else), but not in the least useless.

Thanks for another great song :)

  • Wow! Great song. And the title seems perfect to me - the king being assassined somehow secretly, in the night... a ceremonial, medieval scene. Great job :D , this one, as the other songs

  • Awesome, I was afraid I might be the only one who thought the title fit :-D Many thanks for your kind words!! :-)

  • I wanted to post just ';)', but it was too short, so I added this yada-yada as well :D...

    ;)

  • This music reminds of the the scene:

A young warrior riding on white horse galloping in plains, under a red blanket sunset.

lol, simply beautiful and grand. Bravo!

  • I like the image!! :-) Many thanks!

  • Great! I like it. Another title might work better, though. It just sounds a little too happy. But still, good.:)

  • i couldn't agree more ^^ great piece, but no tune for a killer...

  • I can't seem to not sound happy these days, hehehe... oh well, many thanks, I'm glad you liked it! :-)

  • Yes. I also agree with the whole happy-feel, major-key thing.

    Doesn't sound very assassin-ie.

    Cool song though!

    The drums from Kontakt?

  • Thanks! The drums are from Garritan Jazz & Big Band library.

  • What a lovely music !!!

  • Is this your first time adding (modern?)drums to orchestra? (from what you had in your info)

Because it sounds cool :3 (it makes me smile those smiles after you completed a master piece :) lol! )

  • Yes... I did try writing for drums for another more jazzy piece (even though with the chords I used it ended it being quite unjazzy!), but this is the first time I've tried adding the drum set to a regular orchestra.

    Many thanks for listening! :-)

  • Not bad at all, :3 I <3 it!

  • Very nice song! :D

I like the drum set parts. .sounds modern. .in a good way!

  • Many thanks! :-)

  • Was the assassination of the king a good thing?

  • Ah... :-) If the music makes it feel that way...

I actually kind of pictured it as sort of good and bad thing, one evil guy killing another evil guy...

But it doesn't matter; all is fair in music interpretation! :D

  • It does sound awfully happy...

Sounds like it's written in a major chord, at least.

Oh well... Nice song, and the drums worked!

  • Thanks!

Yeah, probably a bit too much major chord in there for it to be too unhappy... :D
