@Pamilicious74 i think it's just contemporary instrumental. it doesn't have the usual chords / not all the instruments typically used in jazz and the style in which they're playing is definitely classical.

He probably watched the movie Bebel before he create this soundtrack for it. The piano and the violins are like 2 different incidents happening at the same time, first relating to each other, later slowly going their separate ways, just like the story in the movie. Quite a meaningful piece.
