The economic crisis can't be solved unfortunately. Some jobs/skills simply have no fundamental value (like banking, retail middle management, etc). Check out the documentaries; Money as debt 1 and 2, Overdose; the next financial crisis, and Collapse (2009) to see what I mean by this crisis can't be solved. I agree however that a beginning to organize a barter culture now will mitigate the effects of the collapse.
So you are saying that an artist "doing" something is the same as an Iron worker "doing" something? I agree that everyone should help everyone else. Yet saying that we are all equal in the jobs we do regardless of the hardship of that job, are entitled to the same benefit? That is and is always refered to as communism. It works wonderful in marriage, but not as a society.
