  • Seth this is very helpful, thanks a lot bro. Curious to know what software and technique(s) do you use? from seeing these, I think you do a combination of traditional and cutout, am I right?

    Thanks again, keep em' coming.

  • @mibodega I draw on a Cintiq in Flash. I draw out all of the key poses by hand and then use the Flash tools to symbolize different elements so I don't have to draw everyone on every frame the way you might with straight traditional. Still perfecting it though. Always learning. I do the BGs in Flash or Photoshop, then, depending on the needs of the scene, either composite in Flash for straight forward stuff or in After Effects for more complicated stuff.

  • It's really cool seeing the process before the final animation. Some people think animators and cartoonists in general are vending machines, demanding stuff to be put up. But showing the rough drafts helps at least a little. I can see the obvious gestures for emotion. She goes from happy to uneasy.

  • I love storyboards!!! I wanna work for film roman eventually. or make my own cartoon lol. I watch all the storyboards and animatics on the simpsons dvds lol.

  • who is voicing this?

  • @buenfiesta82 Nicole Sullivan

  • Reminds me of Family Guy

  • me 2

  • yh same with me lol

  • @OmegaKingBoo And the author's name is Seth. Just like Seth, the family guy creator.

  • @TheXeeman yeah....my parents planned it that way in the '71. I went my whole life without coming across a single other Seth and now it's like entertainment is bursting at the seams with them.

  • Seth I love your art style and everything u do keep it up!!! ^-^

  • For everyone that's saying "When are you going to do something new?" I'm working on it but it takes a long time and a lot of people have asked to see he process and personally my favorite drawings are these rough ones because they capture the life of the character first and a lot of work that never gets seen goes into make this stuff. Also, I'm doing this all on my own so bear with me with it takes a while. Putting this up gives me something to post in the mean time.

  • its awsome!

  • I love the rough sketches too,
