I bought this plane as my first 4 channel plane back before they had the brushless motor option. The thing could barely get off the ground and I was lucky to get one lap around the football feild with the battery that was included. I wish that I would have bought the same one as you got here

@PrOfLiGhT11 Hey. Everyone learns at their own speed. You will know when you can progress. To start you should begin with a 3ch high wing trainer like the HobbyZone Super Cub LP or even a micro like the HobbyZone Champ or Parkzone J-3 Cub micro. From there, once you are comfortable, you can progress to a 4ch plane like the Parkzone Trojan T-28 or E-flite Appreantice.

one of my ESC's burned out on 3rd flight, resulting in a crash. I have had some experience with many planes from NP and BH, all of which have lasted 5 flights or less before either a motor, esc, or servo failed resulting it the plane crashing.

Hey Dave, I just purchased one of these A-10's from nitroplanes and was wondering if you ever tested the waterproofness of them. It is the very first RC plane i've ever purchased, and i own a large pond, so i figure if i can learn with water launches/landings it'd be easier than pavement :)

I'm just 11 and got this last christmas('09) it's a great plane although it had two problems 1 the wires on the ESC were all black so i had trouble getting the motor to run the right way though i did figure out by trial and error 2nd in flight the aileron shorted out and the plane crashed the left wing broke in half i fixed by gorilla glue sanded that and now it flys great

im having some major trouble with mine..just ordered the speed controller wires are all black so you can not tell what goes where... the front landing gear is to tight to turn and my aleron servo keeps going crazy please respond-sofar im saying nitroplanes sucks-dontbuy this!

I got this mini cam from xheli several weeks ago. It's not as easy to mount on a helicopter; I basically hang it down underneath (which means I can't land or takeoff using the skids). You can see the results on my channel. I also put it on a rocket, and that worked well.

Dave, can you maybe think of a way to mount this cam on a chopper (eyepiece facing forward) and then do a video on it?

I loved the sound of the engines at 7:50 it reminded me of Darth Vaders Tie fighter in Star Wars :D

Did you test fly it without the camera before you added it? I was just thinking that if you didn't and it adopted some awful flight characteristic and crashed then your review would be ambiguous as we would not know if it was the plane or the additional weight / drag / turbulence of the camera that caused it.

The A-10 is my favorite plane because it is direct support for ground troops. There aren't many bad guys that want to argue with a 30mm avenger cannon. Alot of times just the sight of this bad boy sends 'em packin'. The A-10 might not be fast and sexy like a F-16 or F-18 but that just adds to its badassery. Awesome landing! Thanks for the videos.

Yo are a great pilot I fly a 64" wingspan Super Chipmunk and wouldn't attempt flying it that stuff.

Wow! Hairy take-off! I've been looking at this plane. Glad you did a test on it. Looks good. Appears retracts would be fairly easy to install. I have a few of the Gwanli kits (I haven't put all of them together yet) and all look to be pretty good quality, especially for the money although their radios are crap. I test flew the Corsair, totally stock, brushed set-up (except for 3 blade prop). Flew great, but, crap radio had very short range, brushed power just adaquate with 1500 mah 20 C lipo.

i love the A-10 man, it screams American it had a nice on it too, btw, when you do FPV have you ever tried making cam look forward out of window or off the side of the wing? it looks nice going backwards, but i like the "real pilot" feel if you know what i mean XD. ALSO have you ever tried attatching little homemade bombs and missiles on your planes, and you could drop bombs using buttons? it just seemed like it would be awesome to do that after i read the rc plane magazines with bombers :D

Lucky. When I got this plane the BL version wasn't out. The brushed version couldn't fly even if you threw it off of a skyscraper. I had to upgrade it manually.

@jjdaslinger99 get a 3ch wild hawk its very portable and durable. has a good amount of power and is the best begginer plane out there. ive crashed mine at full throttle into the ground toothpicks and glue fix it. but still it can withstand a decent crash.
