Anyone know where I can grab a non-banned kv.bin for resigning purposes? I'm guessing the keys that have been prepacked in these resigning apps have all been banned, and in-turn doesn't fix anything...or is there more to it?

Hi,

I did exactly the same thing as you did, but it is still corrupt if I put my hdd from my banned console to my unbanned console. It is not connected to live and I didn't recover the profile. I tried it several times and also with other programs such as con flag remover. If I go to memory on my xbox 360 you can see the profile, but still corrupt. It is on a kinect dashboard.

can't you just buy a microsoft transfer cable which plugs stright into a usb slot on the computer and only costs about 1 pound from ebay?

Works! As of 9-14-10 I sucessfully did this. My xbox was modified before I bought it and I have been offline for about a year now and today got a non banned xbox. Uncorrupted my profile, and then signed onto live :) My bioshock save files are not working as of now but I do not know if that is related at all

@theratdude64 to fix your save you need to use the same method on the save game file itself.

@rs4dragons4life use the same method on the game save itself to uncorrupted the save, but the achievements are lost if you recovered your account otherwise you shouldn't have a problem.

@justin132a if you deleted the file from your Hd and it's not in your recycle bin your pretty much screwed. Only want to get your profile back would be to recover it via xbox live.

@xxEmmsterxx if you deleted the file from you computer it should be in the recycle bin. otherwise it's gone unless you recover via live.

Just wanted to follow up... I found the hash-block calculator from the Xploder forums.

Once I had that I simply followed this vid and it worked beautifully. Back up on Xbox live after about 10 minutes of opening the packaging to my xbox-connectivity cable (which is definitely not $50 as mentioned in video, got it for $7.56 on dealextreme)

I don't condone piracy, but if you were using a backup of an original game you own If you uncorrupted it it will not matter. The original and the backup will still work but every time you connected the HD that banned console it will re-corrupt everything. The only way to stop that is to buy a new 360 that is not banned.

Some people are getting bad packages from the net. I have no problem running my profile back and forth from my JTAG console.

But now when I try to play any game it must download an update. I download it and it asks it again... and again... and again...

Did I do something wrong? I cannot connect to the Live but that's OK, just wanted my profile back and play games, half is done. How to stop updating?

Like I got a corrupted profile, thought that all was lost and started from scratch with a new profile. Now, can I move my save fromnew profile to my old one?

as long as its the same profile from the save HD yes. Otherwise I have read the saves are tagged with an ID number that wont allow you to, unless you have a memory card.

I just wanna make sure before I try this. If I uncorrupt my profile and attach the same HD that i used on my original 360 onto another 360, then this should work right? Or do i have to transfer my data to a new HD and then use the other 360? The new 360 i plan on using has not been connected to live since last november so i'm fairly confident that this method will still work on it and that i will be able to access my data and profile without having to buy a new HD. thanks ahead of time =)

As far as I have read up whenever a banned console writes a save or to a profile it is not signed as trusted. So it might work on that one banned xbox 360 but will never work on another

On an unbanned console you have to just use your old save.

hey how bout the save games? i save games on my banned 360 then when i try to used the save file on the unbanned 360 with the legit disk it wont load up, is there a work around for it?

you have to use the same process most of the time its the profile and not the save itself. but you just have to find the save and do the same thing.

you can do it on a laptop but you will have to buy the kit that allows you to hook it up via USB.

you can't just delete profile but the items then recover gt and done?

you can do that, but you will lose any achievements that you have got since being banned. Also that seems to mess with a few games saves.

Men i can´t use xplorer 360 it doesn´t detect partition 3 on my 120 gb hdd i used xport 360 instead but i can´t drag the fixed profile back on the hdd any suggestions?

Yo i cannit seem to get this to work im using CON flag remover becuse i cannit find Hb con uncrrupter and i cannit get it to work follwed 3 of these tourtials and youres and i cannit seem to get it to work even tho im using the exact steps and it still comes up corrupt also i heard some people are having problems trying to get the CON flag remover to work that might be the problem can u help me out please it might work with the Hb CON-Uncorrupter u have ive been on this for 8 hours and no luck.
