That's the problem with the NBA. The salary cap. Here in Europe, we don't have such a thing, every team can spend as much as they want. And yes, no one will question the level of NBA basketball, but it is not like the Euroleague is the B-show either. If, let's say, Vince Carter would play in Europe, yes, he would be the star of that team, but he would not necessarily dominate all the statistics boards. And neither does Childress, but with his teamplay he helps Olympiakos in every single game!

thats a very good analysis. n though it is not the b-show, its pretty close. the nba always is better because of the skill combo with size n athleticism, thats why u dont see all euro stars goin to the nba, its those with that combo of skill size n athleticism. i think it would be more important helpin nba teams win games because of the greater competition. so it really isnt much for them to win a bunch of games against good, but not night in and night out great, competition. i c wat u sayin thO

nbajerry, i am greek-american and i will be honest with you. ok, the NBA is a more competitive league, but European basket is changing the standards. Europeans dont go to the rim, they shoot the ball. America is having a hard time now a days with that. and Olympiakos is a amazing team with amazing players. open your eyes a bit, josh came cuz he saw the future. Olympiakos is the future.

so they lost their FIRST GAME! to greece and by 6 points while most didnt have much experience playing international basketball.they still managed to get 3rd place wich i think if greece wouldnt have cagged a win that year spain would have got destroyed by the usa team.i have no doubt in my mind that this year not one team is gonna defeat the usa team the nba is the best league who wouldnt want to play in it you test your skills every game against great basketball players
