personally as a P-plater, id rather go for something a bit nicer to drive than try(and fail) to get a "performance" vehicle. it personal preference i know, but there are so many more "fun" cars to drive, with out trying to be performance.

provisional liscence. you get them for a certian number of years before you can get a full drivers liscence. there are speed restrictions, engine restrictions, passanger curfews, zero tollerance to alcohol, and you get picked on by the cops more

u can get special exemptions or sumthen.. that allows u to drive a V8 if its the only car u got access to, or is required for work... thats what i plan on doing when iv got enough money saved up for a monaro/firebird/camaro
