You should read the 10 commandments of the german soldier. The Wehrmacht followed the tradition of the Reichswehr and the Kaiserliche Armee. The Nazis however ignored the principles of honor and morality and such disbanded the traditional commandments. I would say that the regular german soldier was just a normal guy who fought for his country. If Obama told you that idk Canada attacked Montana and now the US is fighting back, you would be fighting for your country too.

Then again I can understand a German when they speak English. I know Von Braun was behind the V1 and V2 and Penenmunde etc., but did he have a high political rank in the Nazi Party also? I thought he was too busy building rockets with Kraft Erik. He wasn't the only German to work for us after the war.

My dad had a friend who served the German Army in WWII, I remember him telling me that he hated the Nazi's and would spit on them for what they brought upon all of Germany and friends who died all around him. By the end of the war he told me most of his friends died and I remember he said that he would cry but the one thing that my dad told him was "You survived that is something to be proud of and You are stronger than those pigs". This made me understand all soldiers go through hell together

@zeppelin0127 soldiers are not the enemy...the enemies are the leaders that make their soldiers believe they are fighting for a good reason, soldiers only fight and give their lifes for their country, all soldiers are brothers and suffer the same things, the only problem is...that every soldier fights for HIS country and has to defeat the other one that is fighting for the enemy country.

You should read the 10 commandments of the german soldier. The Wehrmacht followed the tradition of the Reichswehr and the Kaiserliche Armee. The Nazis however ignored the principles of honor and morality and such disbanded the traditional commandments. I would say that the regular german soldier was just a normal guy who fought for his country. If Obama told you that idk Canada attacked Montana and now the US is fighting back, you would be fighting for your country too.
