tin foil creates hot spots, small areas of focused light that can burn your plants or start a fire if they gets hot enough.

also foil gets a lot hotter than mylar, raising the overall temperature of your grow area.

in a lot of cases it wouldnt make a diference but since hes in such a confined space it poses more of a threat, proly wont start a fire but could have a effect on the plants.

in small spaces it could raise the temperature but usually like in this setup, small spaces dont really require anything since you propably have enuf light to penetrate the upper leaves anyway.

i personally dont use mylar nor tin foil in any setup, but everyone does their own way, since there are as many ways as there are growers

Also do you have any advice on watering? Like when to do it, how much, giving nutes every other watering, what concentration of nutes, etc? I'm thinking of using the Fox Farm trio of grow big, big bloom and tiger bloom if that helps.

I'm interested in making my own ScrOG setup in a 1'x2' area with about 20 inches max height (giving a max distance of 6" from lighting). Nothing put into effect yet, just blueprints and planning while I gather info to try and plan ahead. How many CFLs do you use, what wattage and what color spectrum? I'm thinking of using a 3-blue to 1-red ratio for veg and switching it around for flower. Any tips for someone wanting to start their own grow?

growbro,4 weekz for veg using blu spec then switch to red spec for 8 weekz of flower, perfect nutes combo add to water every time, water every 1-2 weekz keep soil dry its a weed they grow faster dry, but spray them at nite twice a week 2 prevent mites, double the nutes when flowering, since u don't use chemicals in ur plantz,1 week b4 u harvest just water w/ph level at 6.5-7 twice the week b4 harvest, keep a few sugar leavez on top of colas or top of plant the whole time to prevent harsh smoke

Dude u can't let it go with out water for 1 to 2 weeks the plant will die quick I forgot to water this thing for just a day and it looked sad as shit when I saw it. I HAVE to water this plant every day it was just the same in the last grow.
