Constantine was not the founder of the Catholic Church. In fact, he was at odds with the Church and many of the Bishops, And in fact, Rome continued to persecute the Church after Constantine. So this is a false statement not based on historical fact.

I know he accepted the ruling of Nicea that rejected Arias....I also know Arias changed his tone in his later years and tryed to push a faith that "accepted" the creed at Nicea but was still untrinitarian, he was a very slippery fellow.

This did not end the Arianism concepts, It was a long battle. But you may be right that Arias softened his view to be readmitted into the Church. And this was the time that Constantine favored him to be readmitted. Mike's book is pretty good but I would entertain more research on the subject. Blessings
