@wouter1246 I dont remember well, does soul fire require a soul shard? if so, you should move it to the very end of the chain, and replace the beginning to corruption-immolate-conflagrate and from there its up to you, its the layout I use, hope it helps :)

@Melarkey1998 You shouldn't really start by rolling a Warlock, But if you do your better off with Affliction for PvE. And now for PvP you should spec Destro/ Demo.
@deathvbringer Wrong. Demo is best for leveling, but it's been proven time and again destro does beter dps than demo. Affliction is pvp, destruction is pve (though there are amazing players who use it in pvp), and demo is a mix of the two.

@devatius Let both of your bane spells run out. Especially bane of agony, which should only be used in Affliction spec anyway. In Destruction spec, I usually reapply my corruption after I refresh immolate, after which conflagrate is off CD.

I don't understand why he cast the shadow bolt and includes it in his rotation. He mentions the shadow bolt provides that buff called "Shadow and Flame", but doesn't incinerate also provide that buff? I'd think it would make more sense to use Incinerate because the extra 25% fire damage from "Cataclysm". Can someone give some closure on this?
@fatty578 Seriously??? Come on! Warlocks are never OOM. When your mana gets low, you just life tap it back up. Mana feed is a waste of talent points. Dark Arts is much better because it increases your imp's dps, meaning your dps is higher.
@demoopr3d4t0r You always want to hard cast immolate unless you're in a movement situation, in which case you use fel flames. Using fel flames is proven to lower your dps because it doesn't do as much damage as a hard cast immolate.

for god sake use soul burn for instant soul fire cast and jesus christ dont use shadow bolt in destro, Do like this: soul burn-soul fire-immolate-corruption-bane of doom-conflagrate-incinerate x3. and start over. (with or without soul burn)
@zizzy897 I do same thing, and was pulling 15K on Nef with 352 ilvl, however, you forgot two things:Start with Curse of elements, and after using conflagrate, pop demon soul for the 30% extra crit, then use Chaos Bolt and 2 incinerates. rinse and repeat.
That's why you really should glyph imp....burning embers really do a lot of damage, and glyphing imp you will increase the imp's firebolt and the burning embers by 20%

Shadow bolt is useless to the Destro lock now. Incinerate puts the same debuff as shadow bolt, but it does more damage as a Destro lock. Really you'll want to stay away from most of those shadow spells as Destro since their damage is so low.
@babyblaze420365 using fel flame to refresh immolate is actually a loss of potential dps. You would get more dps casting an incinerate or two and just recasting Immolate at the last tick.

@deadhopper1 I main a warlock and by far the best race for a warlock right now would be a goblin, the 1% spell haste makes a pretty big difference. I also make use of the rocket jump constantly to get out of bad spots quickly in raids. Also, spirit is like cancer for warlocks, there is no need for it.
the whole point of these videos are to give you a basic guideline on how to play a particular class. its not completely accurate (which he states ate the beginning of his videos) and plus, there are many ways to play one particular toon. If he isnt doing what you typically do, that doestn make him dumb, retarded. If you dont agree, thats fine but to someone new to the class, its a really good, basic guideline to follow.
Sorry to say but i play a destro lock and this video is so wrong like idk what to tell you. I pull 22k burst dps on cata raid bosses, and average out 15k+ talents are wrong and yeah. Everything else

@deadhopper1 Hello for the forth time and here I got the best speccs for you as a Warlock: Affliction - is the most powerful DoT specc on WoW at the moment so it's very mobile for PvP, Demonolgy - is best for raids becuse their pets and good CC. Destrouction - is my favourite specc...It has the best Burst damage for the three warlock speccs and very good AoE (but affliction has best) so Destrouction is best for PvP. Hope you learn something from this and GL.

Now for the Warlock: If you play Horde I would strongly recommend Forsaken (Undead) for race becuse they got improved Spirit which makes your mana come back faster and belive me, Warlocks takes ALOT of mana! First of all every race is almost the same but if you'd play an alliance mage I would recommend Gnome becuse they have 5% more intellect than any other class and they got a passive mode called: Arcane resistance, which makes you easier to resist arcane damage and do better damage with your arcane spells. I'll continue on another letter....
with all due respect, but this rotation is nonsense, the best destruction rotation for maximum DPS is as follows : Soulburn>immolate>Soul fire>conflagarte>CB>incinerate until immolate is near finished >Felflame>Conflagrate>CB>Incinerate...repeat this and use Soulfire whenever possible either through imp proc or Soulburn to maintain haste buff
i challenge anyone to come up with a better rotation :P ,i do 17-20k DPS on dummy with all CD's popped NOTE : before doing this cast Curse of elements :)

@babyblaze420365 using fel flame to refresh immolate is actually a loss of potential dps. You would get more dps casting an incinerate or two and just recasting Immolate at the last tick.

seriously.. I did more than u on dps when i was lvl 80... 9~10k on boss dummy.. and 16~19k in raids.
I dunno much about the change with cataclysm since i quit.. but I'm sure you can do more.

Never ever cast SOUL FIGHT ! hard cast that is you need to just use soul stone because by the time you cast a soulfire i could get off 2 or 3 inc so you never need to cast a soul fire hard cast

@deadhopper1 I main a warlock and by far the best race for a warlock right now would be a goblin, the 1% spell haste makes a pretty big difference. I also make use of the rocket jump constantly to get out of bad spots quickly in raids. Also, spirit is like cancer for warlocks, there is no need for it.

the whole point of these videos are to give you a basic guideline on how to play a particular class. its not completely accurate (which he states ate the beginning of his videos) and plus, there are many ways to play one particular toon. If he isnt doing what you typically do, that doestn make him dumb, retarded. If you dont agree, thats fine but to someone new to the class, its a really good, basic guideline to follow.

Sorry to say but i play a destro lock and this video is so wrong like idk what to tell you. I pull 22k burst dps on cata raid bosses, and average out 15k+ talents are wrong and yeah. Everything else

why spoiling such a great video by using fail rotation :/???...shadow bolt shouldnt even be mentioned in this video...and the use of it in the rotation of destro lock is kinda LOL...also glyph of conflogate is a must have specially for boss fights...other than that good vid

@deadhopper1 Hello for the forth time and here I got the best speccs for you as a Warlock: Affliction - is the most powerful DoT specc on WoW at the moment so it's very mobile for PvP, Demonolgy - is best for raids becuse their pets and good CC. Destrouction - is my favourite specc...It has the best Burst damage for the three warlock speccs and very good AoE (but affliction has best) so Destrouction is best for PvP. Hope you learn something from this and GL.

Now for the Warlock: If you play Horde I would strongly recommend Forsaken (Undead) for race becuse they got improved Spirit which makes your mana come back faster and belive me, Warlocks takes ALOT of mana! If you're a Alliance I cannot tell becuse I have never leveld a Alliance Warlock but you're self to decide..it really dosen't matter which race you are, just pick what you like. I'll continue on my forth and last letter for you...

@deadhopper1 Hi agian, so yea, if you'd play Horde I'd suggest Blood elf becuse they almost got as good stuff as Gnomes. Now for the mage speccs: the speccs are very different, Fire is more like a DoT specc, Frost is a normal casting specc but with many interuppts and freezes and Arcane is the more faster specc with many instants but Arcane takes ALOT of mana. I'll continue Warlock on my third letter to you....

@deadhopper1 Dear Deadhopper, I am not TGN but I think I could give some some advices for your comment on this guide. First of all every race is almost the same but if you'd play an alliance mage I would recommend Gnome becuse they have 5% more intellect than any other class and they got a passive mode called: Arcane resistance, which makes you easier to resist arcane damage and do better damage with your arcane spells. I'll continue on another letter....

with all due respect, but this rotation is nonsense, the best destruction rotation for maximum DPS is as follows : Soulburn>immolate>Soul fire>conflagarte>CB>incinerate until immolate is near finished >Felflame>Conflagrate>CB>Incinerate...repeat this and use Soulfire whenever possible either through imp proc or Soulburn to maintain haste buff
i challenge anyone to come up with a better rotation :P ,i do 17-20k DPS on dummy with all CD's popped NOTE : before doing this cast Curse of elements :)

Lol. Yeah, dps could be higher, but it's still a solid build and rotation. It's funny how he talks so much about how Searing Pain could be a good execute spell due to the 40% increased crit chance... @XXXBonnielicious i don't think it does increase dps. it only keep its up for 6 more seconds which is like half of its regular duration, also immolate does damage on HIT about the same damage as fel flame and increases the duration longer. i was doing more dps not fel flaming.
