Will definitely go down as one of the greatest point guards ever. Isn't he like third in assists for the 08-09 season? He has a decade or more on some of those guys but at 35 he's still pulling in great numbers. He may never win a ring, but he definitely has skills and will be remembered as a great point guard and my personal favorite player.

but with shaq, suns are rebounding better and it usually takes 2 guys to guard shaq leaving 4 players open for the suns while 3 open for the other team. but i agree that the suns are a fast 3pointing team

rofl. the suns started to gel with shaq toward the end. if the trade was done earlier, the conclusion might have been different. marion didnt even wanna be in phoenix. i bet his performance would have dropped horrendously if he was still on the suns. so look out for the suns the next season, although i think trailblazers, hornets, and lakers will be at top.

Totally agree. Defenders need to respect his shot making (did you check out this year's stats? Has to miss a freethrow yet), penetration and passing skills. I like Kidd but he could not score if he had to. Nash? I think he could average 24, 25 points a night if he was selfish. But he just plays perfect ball.
