I was in that mini-tornado. My friend and I were leaving Whalom Park in Lunenburg when all of a sudden the wind came out of nowhere and make it nearly impossible to drive for a couple of minutes. Heading home, there was a fair amount of damage around the Twin Cities. As we got closer to Marlborough, there was little to nothing, other than some rain.
When I see these archived brocasts from WNEV, WBZ, and WCVB from the second half of the 80s (I moved to Boston in 1985) I keep thinking how today's Boston is not the same Boston I used to know and love
Back when they were a goody-two-shoes newscast before Ed Ansin took over and made them look like a sleazy tabloid show.
