  • The time has come-hillsong united

  • what's the configuration of you delay?

  • what is the song called !! soz but i cant understand what he calls it ? and good tutorial though ! :)

  • love the guitar's crisp sound

  • Heh heh .... I remember playing this at Riverview Church playing all 16th notes and using a little reverb/delay.... :)

  • what does the Boss FS-5U pedal do exactly?

  • @bobyjilo77 You can plug it into your pedal and use it as a tap tempo

  • does the foot controller attach directly with the delay pedal? i mean how did he rig it? any ideas? tnx!

  • @aubergine28 It's a Boss DD-5 with a Boss FS-5U. You plug the FS-5U directly into the DD-5 and on some of the settings you can tap in the rhythm. On setting 9 it automatically gives you the dotted eighth effect when you tap in the quarter note. That's why he says "the delay time doesn't matter."

  • @johnielsen08 WOW! i see! thank you so much bro! God bless you!

  • @MrMax0159 It's a Gretsch Black Penguin. He took the pickguard off of it, so it looks a little different on the Gretsch Website.

  • what guitar is that?

  • omg! michael is so cute :$

cof cof! sorry, i love his pedal <3

  • what's his overdrive ey?

  • my fav guitarist from Hillsong

  • wow amazing wana share to guitarist again

  • great video! im using a vox machine time machine delay pedal and a ts6 tube screamer and it sounds just like this.

  • Oh Epic. :)

  • @mexicantboy45 pickup & setting does the job, well, i wasn't using a grestch guitar, with the mini humbucker. i guess my delay setting wasn't good enough, btw, i'm using DD-7. i adjust to the setting which michael showed in the video but it doesn't sound like it

  • @Augustua They're not actually humbuckers. More like a creamy single coils. Dynasonic Pickups or DeArmands, as they were called originally.

  • this guy must be my cousin. he kinda looks like me.

  • i wish i had all that equipment lol, i have to just pick it up and down

  • You don't need a gretsch to get that kind of sound. I don't think it's worth the money - most of it goes into the brand. I prefer Ibanez in that regard.

  • The name of the song is "An introduction/Time has Come" - Hillsong United from the album United We Stand

  • @lespauldreamer yeah yeah...i wonder how much is the cheapest gretsch? mayb i could get one...hmm~

  • @Augustua the cheapest gretsch that i've seen that is still worth buying would be the pro jet.... sells for about $600. As far as i know he plays a black penguin and a white falcon...

  • Wow. Top notch!

  • What song is it?

It does not soudn like salvation is here...

  • time has come

  • Does anyone know where I can get a flight case like Chislett's got? It's it just a standard ATA pedal case? I'm thinkin in the next year I might need one of that caliber

  • i got DD 7 with a build tap tempo...but still cant sound that good..

  • Its his guitar and other effects.

  • @Augustua buy a gretsch haha that's what does it...

  • @Augustua I do too and I can get it to sound almost exactly the same. If you still don't know and want to know, message me

  • Michael Guy Chislett ftw =D

  • I have DD6, is it possible to make the same sound ???

    Love this sound !!

  • sure, just hold down the pedal for 2 seconds and tap to the same tempo he is. Make sure the feedback is at halfway and the level is atleast at half.

  • nova scotch

  • He's using just the TS808 and DD5 for this video...you can see which LED's are lit up on his loop-strip near the end of the video. And his guitar is on the bridge pickup.

  • He's using a Boss DD-5 digital delay.. too bad you can't buy it anymore..

for the tap tempo he has a Boss FS-5U pedal connected to the DD-5..

By the way.. this is my favorite electric guitar part! Awesome!

  • How did he connect it to the DD-5? Is that a standard option, cuz that is fantastic!

  • just buy one on ebay.

  • he's in a band called the academy is...

  • anyone know what delay he's using here?

  • DD-5!! FTW!

  • YEAH!!!

  • he's using :

    JOy ride,fuzz,delay and Rotrone Hush

  • the time has come---the name of this song

  • what song is that?

  • is true that he is not playing anymore in hillsong?

  • he is still with em jus doesnt tour with em he records only

  • Comment removed

  • He's using a Gretsch Black Penguin.

  • hello what that guitar called that he is using

  • Whats the name of this song?

  • michael is using a boss dd6 delay pedal for the repeated notes, the device that he is using for tap tempo is an external boss FS5U tap tempo, he has it plugged into the stero input of the pedal. The DD6 has tap tempo but FS5U takes away the time needed to access it.

  • NO, Michael guy is using a DD-5, not the DD-6.

The DD-6 doesn't have the external tap tempo feature, only the DD-5 and DD-7 do, and the DD-20 also. But obviously he isn't using that LOL

  • true that I new that, but when I was typing DD6 came out cuz thats what I have, im a creature of habbit.

  • what delay model is he using? and how do you plug a foot controller in to it like he does?

  • He is using Dotted eigth note delay

  • woah! nice rig!

  • Comment removed

  • not bad, maybe around 35 bucks, but your delay gotta be to have an external input for it.

  • what was that pedal he was tapping his foot on and what does it do?

  • This is a "Foot Controller" to adjust the time delay.

  • oooh. thas nifty. ahha. i'm not too educated w/ delays, but i am thinking of getting one for myself. how much do these controllers cost?

  • @victorhugotv Tap pedal <3 :D

  • @victorhugotv does it matter if i dont use it?

  • it's called a tap tempo

  • @guitar4hire311 its a Boss FS- 5U

  • @guitar4hire311 It's called an FS-5U Pedal.

  • u r the best man.

  • That was awesome....actually He's awesome. ;p

  • i love him!!!

wait.. i already said that hahahahaha

    i just loocked right now

    hahaha

  • yes it is.
