I have the same point of view as everyone else here about this show liked the show because the time frame it focused on when cars were going for $2000.00, and TV was black and white plus the music is great to I have a feeling if it would have came back for another season two and three would have be put on DVD.

nbc and the producers are thinking about releasing them on dvd, but they need more people to buy season 1 to convince them (its only $20 now and you cna buy it from nbc online). also it would be very helpful if you wrote nbc a e-mail saying that you will buy the dvds if they are released

i got seasons 1, 2 and 3 a couple of years ago. season 1 Was just like the one they released seasons 2 and 3 was like it was taped on vhs and then converted to dvd nbc logos and weather warnings came on from time to time 2 or so episodes were left out and some were put on the dvd twice, but it will do till nbc releases seasons 2 and 3 which will probably be released together.

everytime i watch this episode, i cry. it is so emotional. but it captures what most families were feeling when they got those tapes and what many feel today when their son or daughter doesn't make it home. it breaks my heart.

This episode is always sad. Great acting by everyone! It always makes me cry,especially Helen. Nathan and Sam's part makes me cry too. I remember seeing this when it was on tv and was so upset. I was so happy in Tidings of Comfort and Joy when he came home! I miss this show!!

This clip always makes me think of this Tim McGraw song called "If you're reading this"... it's this soldier's letter home to his wife and parents for if he dies in combat. Basically, if they're reading the letter he's dead. It's really sad but it always makes me think of this scene.

OMG this was my favorite episode, I had it recorded but someone in my family rerecorded over it. Thank you for poating this. This episode got me into the rolling stones. I agree Sparkle. It was such a good show. It showed history was repeating itself. I theorize that is why it was killed. Cause it was a good show that showed the previously mentioned point. I miss this show soo much. We need the last two seasons on DVD
