  • Nice song. Whether you are Laotian or Hmong, Laos will be forever in our hearts. Now we are in our new home, let us better ourselves and helped those that are left behind so they too can better their lives. We did and now my brother and Laotian sister-in-law's family is thriving thru their business.

  • I love this lady singing. good voice.

  • and currently there are more and more problems.

it is just to sad to see a beautiful country with plenty of natural resource remains undeveloped.

please comment and discuss if you have time, i would really appreciate

anyway, i am an overseas student studying economics, i really want to see lao's economy improve quickly so that the life of lao people will be improved as well

  • HI everyone, I am a 22 year old Laotian. I need your help.

Now that our country has been under communist control over 35 years or so, the running of the government has not been effective due to their mentality such as having elderly as leaders, choosing anyone who is related to government officials and so on, the economy has been progressing very slowly, hence the poverty still remains; corruption is still a big problem, the gap between rich and poor remain wide...

  • @thetriptobountiful good job trying to lie, YOU FAIL!

  • @sengoku17 Dear Sir, I appreciate your comment, now let me explain to you sir

    1. your comment is too short, with nothing to back up at all, who on earth will be convinced?

    2. what i talked about in my previous comments were based on facts, if you open your heart and eyes, you will realise that what i say are right. a) Lao economy was progressing very slowly, would not you agree? b) Lao education is poor. c) corruption is still a big problem, just ask the traffic policemen if you do not know this

  • @sengoku17 Please open your mind sir and look at the world around you sir, countries like Thailand (which always wants to eat us up), Vietnam as well as China, they are better than us in terms of education, international trade, industry etc, you should know that every day there are many lao people crossing the border to Thailand to shop and enjoy there, obvious reason is that there are more stuff there.

  • @sengoku17 the last thing that i want to say is that, i am not against the communist ideology per se, ( because there are good examples such as China whose economy is booming) but i am not satisfied with the way the government runs the country; it is till too traditional, we need to be more strategic, be more open and be receptive in terms of foreign investment into the country. if you take a quick look at Asean's data, you would see that Laos is always ranked last in the list in almost area

  • Sabai dee Louang Prabang (Lao song)

  • am here almost two years and i love luang prabang..

  • This song made me want to cry. It so sad that from the begining to present Laos people can only suffered so much from wars and conflicts which all started by foreigners. The worst thing about the outsiders is their fucking ignorance attitude. No matter how many times I repeated to a those western people when asked where I was born they never seem to get it.

  • @Snowcatclaw I have to fucking explain thing in cirlce. Now that is ignorance when their grandma and uncles sent hate, war machines and armies over there to destroy Laos. Now these people just pretend they have nothing to do with it when it was all said and done. That is very oftending. Atleast what they could have done is apologize and help Laos people find a way to restore peace and rebuilt the country.
