Matheson is one of the great authors most people have never heard of. You have seen something of his though, thats a guarantee.

lol, it was a virus, they manipulated it, and then it cured cancer, but that gone wrong, and infected almost everyone.

no it wasnt. it was from vampires in the novel. in this movie, it is a cure for cancer, but something went wrong and turned people into the infected, then the infected spread it to mostly everyone else
