make a small gap between the pieces, spray a little silicone spray in, and then move around the slices a bunch to spread it around. DO NOT POP THE EDGES!!! That makes the edges pop a lot more once you start solving the cube.

Rubiks brand makes up to a 5x5. Olympicube (a new company) is making cubes up to 11x11. There are some videos floating around of them so a quick search will bring them up.
