The factory is advising me that these will be available in the US sometime in 2011; there are still some changes being made from the first versions. Sale prices will probably be $2000 to $2500. This is an electric fireplace??!! This is the most realistic looking electric flame I have ever seen!!!! I want one of these but I can't find it in the United States.
The Optimyst flame effect is created by the illumination of atomised water which is stored in a concealed water tank. Very simple but also very clever. The flame effect has virtually no moving parts and runs silent.
Wow! Is the Opti-Myst available on the retail market yet? I've not been able to locate these anyplace online. After 12 years I'm doing away with a small gas fireplace unit that has become 2 high maintenance and this is the route I want to go.
