  • lindo clip!

  • Sunshine sample

  • I consider myself blessed to have been born in 1970. The music was amazing and it was a simpler time.

  • @dlrmo6370 hey I was born the same year and you are 100% correct!

  • Joe Osborne's best bass work of his entire enviable career! Killin' groove!

  • All the hairs on my body stand up and I can't help crying. I was born in the wrong generation. 60's and 70's were the best years of the 20th century.

  • Great song, but as someone who was just old enough to be part of the hippy scene I can attest to the fact that most "hippies" were self-indulgent, rich white kids having a good time.

Now they're running the show and things are more fucked up than ever!!! :(

  • Love this so much, My mother and nan went to see it in London in the ( not sure) 60s/70s, all the cast were dancing in the all together, much to their delight, I remember my mother coming home and playing this none stop for weeks!

  • I saw the musical in London in september last year (2010)and i was moved to tears.

I cannot believe i had never heard any of the music before or realized the potency of it's anti war message and it's plea for a tolerant world.

    God bless Ragni and Rado.

  • @BLUESGUITARMANIAC what musical?

  • Love Hair & there songs.

  • hair we had it here in rotterdam last week, nice its a time related story of the usa in the 1967 time and thats al, then they faced going to vietnam, we have our time now and troubles enough, its past no more people who demonstrate egainst things, no more just materialism for everybody and their own .it was a busy time back then.

  • me dio un poquito de pena al final por lo que se fue a la guerra

  • Who cares about the hippy crap, this song rocks!

  • Esta película es una obra de arte

  • dude looks like conan o'brien

  • The young people should understand, because both case (then and now) people died with no a good reason. The leader of america guide based on theirs dirty pockets

  • so so so soooo beautiful and positive *****

  • What is WE should start a group? You start and, if you believe, others will follow. Hippies did not give themselves a name. Jesus had no name for His followers. Peace is not a club, merely a desire for mankind. Take a stand and let it show!

  • viktorthereptile hopefully what a simple world this will be. I think we're just starting. I say...bring it, Aquarius. Bring It!

  • PEASE --AGAIN -NO WAR'S - (A NEW LIFE) FORGIVE AND FORGET - STARS & MOON---***

  • Thanks for the memories!!!!!!!!

  • bellissima

  • @pinkydogbear I know what u mean. Did u see the film of Platoon? I havent seen this movie yet. But im hoping when i rent the dvd but i love their musics. I also love musical films as well. Well only some of them.

  • @pinkydogbear thanx.

  • I hope 1 day we can find eternal peace! God bless u!

  • @19GirlBad yes........................

  • @19GirlBad I hope so. Played this song twice, cried twice plus had 4 glasses of wine, I quit for a while!

  • BONITO DE MAIS PARABÉNS

  • they say fashion and music comes back every 30 years and ive been waiting for the fuckin 70s my whole life lol (im 16)

  • Very good!!

  • Soundtrack of the 1979 movie "Hair". Lovely music.

  • @nancyfloressantos Age of Aquarius is a 1969 hit song.

  • Great musical!

  • hippie bullshit lol

  • God Bless, and HELP us...we can still find it...

  • The music is all right, however I have mixed feelings about this. We vets were sent to a war, some survived, came back and were rejected, mistreated and hasseled by the people represented here. So peace and love but intolerance with the GI's. Is that the way to protest the government policies? Wow! I remember a group of such hippies harrassing us in uniform at the Trailways bus depot in Baltimore, yelling us baby killers and all that crap. Man, it wasn't easy.

  • @billace90 hippies....propaganda is one of the strongest forms of conditioning of the uninformed. and thank you for your sacrifice that allowed me freedom~

  • @billace90 what was it like in nam?

  • @billace90 This should be told to all those hippielover of this age. Hey Guiz hippies are so awesome... they don't know the half of it

  • fuck the fucking war

  • no, I too am a HippiE

  • ppl call me a 21st century hippie

practically im the last hippie standing

  • A legjobb!!!!!

  • igy van ;)

  • Simplesmente linda essa musica. Belsmar Prates.

  • Wow, now I know where 40 year old virgin got this idea from. What a nice omage in 40 year to this drama.

  • Peace, it was a dream then, and the fucked up thing is, it's still just a dream. But thank you for sharing.

  • @sgtsnafu this song made me cry!

  • @sgtsnafu Imagine there's no countries It isn't hard to do Nothing to kill or die for And no religion too Imagine all the people Living life in peace You may say that I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope someday you'll join us And the world will be as one Without dreams of peace, there is no hope of peace
  • @sgtsnafu

Everything starts off as a dream, long before it becomes reality. If war can be a reality, so can peace. One cannot even be defined or known without the other. I think that without the movements of the 1960s, we would have destroyed our world far, far sooner. Perhaps, because of that time, we bought ourselves just a bit more.

  • Me fascina!! Elisa de Valparaíso Chile

  • qsta song la canteremo al saggio d fine anno.. oddio m viene da piangere!!!!!! l ultimo saggio cn la mia scuolaaaaa.. dopo le superioriiiiiii... amore ke bello .. Dan t amo tantiximo. let the sunshine

  • I love this song & movie. I made my sure my first daughter was born in Aquarius.

  • lol I have to play this for band!!

  • me 2! this and karn evil 9 and the tide is high :]

  • Hippies ftw!!! This song is awesome!! I've never actually watched the movie, but I've seen it performed live twice :D The end made me cry both times hahaha

  • I actually did not see the end coming the first time I watched it.

  • eu ainda era criança quando ouvia essa música e sem saber o real significado já tinha verdadeira admiração.Agora que sou adulta sei o quanto o pessoal daquela época tambem sofreu com o direito de espressar suas emocões.Essa música é universal e eterna.Marlene -curitiba/Pr-Brasil

  • This song is amazing. Makes me almost cry to think about the end of the movie

  • hahah. anna. i love this song too.!

  • Agree!

    It´s TO sad! :(

  • lol im singing this 4 chorus

  • 2:19 tess Gergő

  • What a powerful song, I remember hearing it in the 70s when I was just a kid. I wonder how many of those peace loving hippies from that generation have grown up to be the dirty politicians and criminal CEOS that are destroying the world? How could they have forgotten what they were so passionate about back then? What ass holes !

  • i totally agree with your comment art88 the ones now destroying the world were once those who fought to save it and they should be ashamed by their actions for the few that kept up the fight for the good of the world they should be proud they didnt give in to corruption or power

  • Art must have forgotten that even at its peak there were only about 15% freaks vs. 85% straights. There's no logical reason to think all the villains you despise were the peace loving hippies of the 60's. A few maybe, but most of the ones you're talking about were taking Honors Finance courses while the rest of us were out in the streets.

  • What a beautiful song! The hippies promoted peace, love and respect for Mother Nature. What a simple world it could/would be!

  • @viktorthereptile I couldn't agree with you more. What is it all about at the end of the day, but love. We should start a hippy group for the second decade of 2000s. It could lift the energy of this place, to a heightened level, or am i just dreaming again?

  • Yeah, or maybe they just wanted to smoke loads of weed and have sex all day long everyday

  • @viktorthereptile I am grateful for hippies.

  • Great

Would love to see the version of this song at the end of

    40 year old virgin

  • buena...

  • the frayed end of the pure rock and message of the 60s...lost forever. So sad.

  • The best song of the world.

  • Newman's Own - Let's pretend there is no Creator

  • love it
